Dr. Christina Meddows-Jackson, MD

I feel like this Dr just says what she thinks you want to hear and the patients wants and needs are in one ear and out the other. Performed more than one invasive procedure (non emergent and in an office setting) without even saying what she was doing, let alone asking first. I felt violated during a time when I should have been excited about the birth of my child. When I asked if that was the procedure she’d just performed she was annoyed and said “yeah, sort of, yeah, why?”. During the time I was seeing this dr her behavior got worse and worse. Unfortunately by the time she was doing the invasive procedures without consent it was 2 weeks before my delivery so I couldn’t get another dr at that point. I think she would thrive in an administrative role as opposed to patient care.

- didn't make it to my delivery - I should have had a C'section which the NICU Drs admitted - was rude to my mother & mother-in-law; never went to waiting room to tell them i delivered! - terrible bed-side manner! - She didn't even know my baby was born with problems! - self-centered, self-ego-driven

I was a patient for years. Great doctor in the beginning and horrible towards the end which led to me finding someone else. Rushed out my appointment to deliver another patient’s baby, but was not there to deliver mines when it was time. When I asked why she was not able to she very non chalant in her reply that she just wasn’t able to. Very disappointing.

We love Dr. Meddows! She helped deliver our second child (as she did our first) and I felt completely safe and in good hands. She has a way of putting her patients at ease when concerns do arise and knows her field very well. I love statistics and data and she often interacted with me providing studies and resources that helped me make sound decisions along my pregnancy with no bias of her own which I really appreciate. She’s just a great doctor and I’m grateful she’s mine.

Dr. Meddows-Jackson has been my GYN provider for a few years and has always provided me with exceptional care! So quite naturally I felt at ease when I became pregnant with my first child with her OB care. She has always taken time to adress any of my concerns and answer all of my questions. I’ve never felt rushed even if she’s running behind schedule. I’m forever grateful for her delivering my healthy baby boy! She’s an awesome and professional OB-GYN!

Dr. Meddows-Jackson is beyond amazing!! Extremely friendly, always answers all my questions and very knowledgeable. Had my first pregnancy with her and now she is taking care of me with my second. She is just one of those people you meet and become very comfortable with. I highly recommend her if you are searching for an O.B. I have a hospital 20 minutes from where I live and I'd rather drive an hour and a half like I do now to see her

By far my favorite physician (out of all specialities). She delivered two of my babies and I wish I was still in St. Louis for her to deliver my third. Always listened and addressed all of my concerns. She would also recommend seeing a perinatal specialist if it was something beyond the normal OB scope which I appreciated. Wait times could be excessive, but she would never cut your time with her short even when she was running late! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Always professional, very knowledgeable and personable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a doctor!

She is a wonderful, caring Dr. she is always on top of things and takes plenty of time at each appointment to answer questions. Very friendly and has an awesome staff!

Dr Meddows-Jackson is nothing short of amazing. She is so compassionate, listens, and really gives her time to you. I look forward to seeing her. I love that she has children of her own and can relate and sympathize with pregnant and post partum women. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly ob they will feel comfortable with.

I had a very impersonal experience w her and her asst. haphazard bedside manors. I felt very neglected in time of uncertainty and fear.
