Dr Mimikos performed a parotidectomy for me 11 months ago after a diagnosis of a fairly large pleomorphic adenoma. I was referred to her by another doctor, told that that she would be the most qualified for this type of complex surgery. She is very informative with her patients explaining surgical procedures along with probable or possible post surgery outcomes or consequences. She proved to be a most caring and highly experienced surgeon one could find. Five stars is not near enough! From my first visit to the day of surgery to the post op appointment I felt I was in the best possible care. My outcome was fantastic, no complications and the scar is even barely noticeable! Dr. Mimikos handled the surgery for my husband’s oral cancer. I definitely give her 5 stars. She spent whatever time was necessary to explain the procedure beforehand and was very responsive during follow up, even personally making the calls. The jaw has also healed nicely.

Dr Mimikos performed surgery for a lump in my husband's throat. She was very thorough providing information for the procedure and possible outcomes. She spent time until she was satisfied that she had answered all of our questions. When we rescheduled the surgery for a later date, she phoned my husband at home to see if he had any other concerns. We were impressed with her confidence, caring manner and surgical skills. Her staff was competent and very friendly. I would highly recommend her.
