Dr Weltz saved my life 4 years ago from breast cancer. I interviewed extensively & only felt peace once I consulted with her about my diagnosis and needed next surgical steps. Dr Weltz is well known for helping patients who are having a recurrence and she is the surgeon you want to choose the first time to swiftly and decisively act to remove your cancer. Your surgeon choice is so important because it is the first of many physicians that will help you through your cancer diagnosis. As the first, Dr Weltz helps you collect your care team for the best outcome of survival. I am deeply grateful for her skill and commitment to women like myself.

Dr. Weltz was extremely unprofessional. She walked into my room and accused me of harassing the receptionist. The refused to give me an appointment, therefore she told Dr. Weltz all these lies. Dr. Weltz walked into the room where I was waiting for her and accused me of saying all these things I never said and finally Dr. Weltz said, "Why don't you take your breast report and images and go to NYU." I thought that was so unprofessional and I felt so uncomfortable that a doctor would treat me that way.

Dr. Weltz was extremely kind and understanding. I was very frightened when I arrived at her office, but after speaking with Dr. Weltz, I was calmer and feeling I would be in the best possible hands during my surgery. Dr. Weltz has an extraordinary group working beside her and I can say I believe when my primary care physician recommended Dr. Weltz, she did me a tremendous service. Thank you Dr. Weltz!

Dr Weltz performed my survey months back. I did not receive any instruction on massaging my scar after surgery. 6 months later I notice a keloid scar on both my breasts. Mind you I never had keloids in my life. I had surgery once before and the doctor left very minimal scarring. I expressed my dissatisfaction and all she can tell me is sorry, and push me to go see a plastic surgeon who happens to work the same days and hours like she does. I have Medicaid. She messed up and showed no remorse.

In December of 2016 I had surgery with Dr.Weltz. She is a brilliant surgeon and did an amazing job. Dr. Weltz was very attentive and made the consultation, procedure, and follow ups as comfortable as possible. Dr.Weltz is an extremely competent surgeon who's care in explaining procedure and recovery was a compassionate approach that I highly respect. I had a quick recovery and would recommend her to others.

She immediately puts a patient at ease with her easy-going manner. She takes her time to explain diagnosis and follow up procedures and does so in a way that you can understand. It was my good fortune to land in her care for a double mastectomy.
