The greatest doctor I have ever had in my entire life! From bedside manner to transparency. Dr. Helou is an incredible surgeon! She removed a big fibroid that doubled the size of my uterus. She ensured I was informed before the surgery, up until I fell asleep from anesthesia and even when I woke up and post surgery. She cares so much about her patients. I had questions weekly as an over thinker and constant Googler and she was incredibly patient with me and answered each question I had in person and virtually. She is so quick to respond in the portal as well which is a rarity! She is the definition of excellence! If you have questions- feel free to ask me! She was absolutely incredible and I’m healing remarkably from my myomectomy!

Dr Helou was an incredible doctor and surgeon from consult to post-op. She was thoughtful, listened, answered all of my questions and helped me understand the entire process. When the day of my surgery came, she helped me feel more at ease through her caring demeanor and wonderful uterus cap she wears during surgery. To find a gifted surgeon that is kind and understand as well is rare. I would trust her with my life.

This space is far too small to write a thorough review of Dr. Helou. She has been the best medical professional imaginable. Superb at educating the patient (me!), communication, bedside manner, and actual procedures (hysterectomy in my case). My quality of life has improved drastically since seeing her. She actually listens and works with you to find the medical solution that will work. 5 stars is not enough stars!

I was referred to Dr. Helou by my primary care for some issues that I have been experiencing for many years. Dr. Helou is a very rare find these days in a doctor, she has wonderful bedside manner and a wealth of knowledge, very rare to find these two characteristics together in a doctor now a days. She reviewed all of my previous imaging, current imaging, previous doctors notes and she thoroughly listened to me and what I was experiencing. I was so excited to have been referred to Dr. Helou, she is such a blessing. She explained what she thought was going on and went over all my options including surgery. She did not pressure me into making any specific decision. I chose surgery and she was great, her office is great. The surgery went very well and I recovered very quickly. She went out to my loved ones who were in the waiting room after the surgery and gave them a very through update on how I was doing, how it went and what she found. I highly recommend Dr. Helou!
