I have been reading NY Times articles and scientific lit. on benefits vs. downsides of mammograms. When I expressed doubt to Dr. Policare about the benefits of mammograms, she snapped at me that I was reading pseudoscience (I have an MS). (Note: she called the ultrasound room rather than meeting me in person). When I offered to share the literature she told me I could snail mail it to her "at Geisinger" and then refused to spell her last name. She hung up on me after a convo that was <1 min.

Love her - two occasions when she took me into the room where they read the films and showed me my issues - She was so calming and reassuring while doing my last breast biopsy and speaking to my husband afterward - she is a sweet, caring and skilled physician.
