Very informative Dr. Bailey explained exactly the procedure I would be having. His staff is very professional but they have a human side to them. I'm sure they understand that some of his patients may be dealing with stress and anxiety depending on their procedures

Very pleased with Dr. Bailey! He called me before the procedure and walked me through everything. He made sure I was comfortable with the plan and was very reassuring. Everything went well pre/post thanks to Dr. Bailey and the team at Surgicare of South Austin.

I was very impressed with Dr. Bailey. He explained the procedure very well, letting me know exactly what to expect. I left his office able to “exhale”. Had been scared out of my wits before talking to him. Thanks, Dr. Bailey.

Dr. Bailey first did a full exam related the problem and listened intently to the circumstances around which the problem occurred. Then he explained in detail what exactly is going on. He explained various options and recommended the path forward. The fact that Dr. Bailey took time to explain the problem and empathized with the situation gave me confidence that he is providing best possible advice and care.

Absolutely a fantastic surgeon. From the initial consultation, through the procedure completion, Dr. Bailey not only educated myself on the surgical plan, but constantly reassured myself that pain would be minimal. Everything went smoothly and I unequivocally recommend him as a general surgeon to friends and colleagues. Phenomenal experience.

I thought Dr. Bailey was comfortable, knowledgeable, straightforward, honest and efficient. He was thorough in his explanation of what was happening, what's normal/what's not, and open to questions. In a day and age when people are rushed in and out of exam rooms like cattle, I appreciated Dr. Bailey's approach and would be glad to see him again in the future, if needed (hopefully not). ;)

No. I'm now incontinent thanks to him and no better than before. Two surgeries. Countless follow-ups. Thousands of dollars. Endless infections and complications. I've never been this sick before. I wish I'd never trusted him to cut me. I'm doubting if I'll ever be well again. He is a nice man but just not as competent as he thinks he is. Avoid for all but simple surgeries. Get another opinion before allowing him to touch you.

Dr. Bailey and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything about my gall bladder surgery where I could understand and answered all my questions. He even emailed me a detailed U-Tube video he created about everything we discussed and more. This was my first surgery and I felt totally at ease and confident in his care.

I came in to see Dr. Bailey after years of problems with my gallbladder. He answered all my questions and let me pick between having a laparoscopic surgery or the DaVinci machine (I picked DaVinci - the incision is so small!). While he was doing the surgery he found that my bile duct was very inflamed and the ultrasounds didn't show just how backed up it was. He referred me to someone who can do an endoscopy for me and has been great about following up with me to make sure I'm taken care of.

Dr. Bailey is a great surgeon. I met him on referral, and soon found out I had breast cancer. He is sincere and patient. He's very knowledgeable about BC, and communication with him is easy on ARC's messaging system. He personally answered all my messages and quickly, which was important to me as my situation evolved and I had to learn about and plan for a mastectomy. I felt like I always had access to him. Surgery outcomes were everything I could hope for. His work is meticulous and he cares!

He was incredibly professional but put me at ease as a person who has never had surgery for gone under anthesia before. He was down to earth and explained everything throughly and I really appreciated the videos he sent me to watch that outlined my procedure and what to expect from surgery in general. I highly recommend him.
