Dr. Christopher Balint, DO

He was not rushed and explained things well.

Have known Dr.Balint for years. He has always impressed me with his honest, shoot from the hip opinions. If you don’t need surgery or do, he will tell you. He is firm, but kind, and a GREAT diagnostician as well as his surgical ability. He truly cares about his patients and wants the best outcomes. Would have him involved in any ortho surgical or non- surgical ortho care. Will say SBO has many great orthopedic docs!

Dr. Balint is wonderful and understanding. Awesome bedside manner.

My son was fortunate to have Dr. Balint do his shoulder surgery recently and I am so grateful for Dr. Balint's experience and capable hands. I am sure that zillions of pervious D1 athletes and patients feel the same way. As the daughter of a General Surgeon, I was a bit anxious, but If you need shoulder surgery, RUN, not walk, to him!

Very straight forward and honest conversation about my condition. Did not sugar coat things. Very good personality. Took an appropriate amount of time.

Called in for a shot of cortisome. I was the first patient and he was prompt as usual. Bedside manner is amazing. You can tell his staff appreciate’s working for such a great Doctor.

Dr Balint was very personable and took his time explaining what was wrong and what we could do. I had lots of questions and he answered all of them. The staff were really nice and pleasant. I will see him again when needed, he is worth a little wait because he gives you the necessary time and answers your questions when it’s your turn.

My first experience with SBO and Dr. Balint was 12yrs or 13 yrs ago. I was told by another Doc that I need surgery on my shoulders, Dr. Balint examined me and said "sorry to say, there isn't a surgery we can do, your issue is ....." So, he turned away money, which speaks volumes about how honest he and they are. Last year in March, Dr. Balint along with PA. Ritchie replaced my right knee. Now, Dr. Balint is looking at both of my rotator cuffs, both bicep tendons, and both labrums. Dr. Balint is the best, he spent as much time as I wanted with me, answering my questions, he wants to make sure I'm 100% sure I want the surgery and when (no choice totally disconnected rotator cuff). Dr. Balint - Dr. Ratigan and PA Ritchie are the very very best - they do not treat you like a piece of meat!!

This doctor is extremely busy! However, he took adequate time with me, reviewing X-rays with me and explaining what was wrong and how it could be fixed. After a delay in scheduling (not his fault) Dr Balint performed a total reverse shoulder replacement. I couldn't be happier with the result. Dr. Balint emphasized this type of surgery was to relieve pain, but I would loose much of my range of motion. I now have NO pain in my shoulder, upper back, arm or neck. And I have regained more range of motion than I expected. I am pleased beyond words at the results.

Dr. Balint and Chris Ritchey have done all three of my mother's surgeries (shoulder and both knees). They are extremely good about speaking to her and explaining each process to her. They are kind and compassionate and all the surgeries went off without a hitch on their part! I appreciate the time they take to actually care about the person they are operating on and don't approach it as "another knee" without a name. The office staff from reception to x-ray are also wonderful! We were offered another surgeon who had an earlier availability and we refused and waited for Dr. Balint's schedule to open up. He is worth it!! I highly recommend him to anyone out there searching!!

After waiting 47 minutes, he walked in and asked how I was doing. I said I was a little miffed that I had to wait 47 minutes. He got upset and told me I needed a different Dr. and it went downhill from there.

This mans office was filthy and he was verbally abusive. He sells his services to a company called EXAM WORKS. HAVE PHOTOS TIME STAMPED AND GPS MARKED from my appointment.
