Misdiagnosed
Misread my MRI and said tethered cord was not part of my why. He was wrong. Had to travel 750 miles to a knowledgeable neurosurgeon. Had surgery and all my symptoms are gone. Pathology report confirmed congenital tethered cord. If I had listened to him, I would have remained a dynamic wheelchair user. Just a complete waste of time.

Very professional, listened to my concerns and explained things very well. Not rushed and his staff couldn’t have been more helpful or kind. I had a full back fusion with rods & screws. After surgery I was able to stand and walk without any pain for the first time in 25+ years. Dr Bonfield is a very skilled and talented surgeon; I am so thankful for his expertise; I highly recommend that anyone with serious spine issues consult with him.

It’s was good he was quick to fix my daughter needs. And great at explaining. Her surgery went very well and he came out very compassionate to make sure I knew she was good. Then months down the road we were at the OR at the same time and he remembered Me and my daughter and even remembered things I wouldn’t have excepted him to retain. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Dr. Bonfield took excellent care of our baby during vp shunt placement. Our daughter has a complex medical history including Trisomy 18. From the beginning my husband and I both felt confident with Dr. Bonfield. He was compassionate and took the time to explain everything. We could not have asked for better care for our little one during her VP shunt placement. Follow up care is equally impressive.

Very easy to tell when this man looks you in the eyes and lies. Very unprofessional and was good at staying invisible, all surgeries he preformed had to be redone and is Untrustworthy . Caused more problems and very quick to rush something when he needed to monitor it before rushing to judgement and do the wrong procedures, dishonest and very bad bedside manner, would not recommend to anyone who needs help, you will be told anything, and then it's to late, this man is not for your children!!!
