He was on time. Otherwise, he dismissed my symptoms and lacked basic empathy. A year after that, I received a proper diagnosis after my condition had unfortunately advanced. I never leave reviews and sharing this so others don't waste their time. There are better doctors out there, thankfully.

Such a relief to see Dr. Doughtry after seeing so many uncaring, condescending docs just going through motions. Dr. Doughtry was down to earth, thorough, thoughtful, concerned, clear with his explanations, open to my input and to my questions without making me feel rushed. I only wish he had been involved with my care sooner.

Dr. Doughty is good and is going to be great. Strictly adheres to evidence based medicine (a scientist), and his learned algorithms. He is not dismissive about suggestions from other physician's opinions. He was really interested in my medical history and took the time to read all information provided to him by my referral physician. He doesn't want to just treat your symptoms but really wants to know the cause of your ailments which makes neurology a really difficult field. After seeing me he is no longer considered a Rookie. Lastly and most importantly, he did not consider my obesity the cause of all my problems but a symptom of my disease. He does not prejudge you by how you look. KUDOS!!
