Feedback is respectfully shared to improve patient care. 1) as a plastic surgeon for the lip, please use numbing gel. You stated "dentists use this gel, but you aren't a dentist" -please invest, 2) this was a Mohs procedure; do NOT suture the entire wound until lab results are back; you stated "I thought I got it all but I was wrong." 3) ensure the patient is numb - it's different for everyone; don't assume, 4) wait until the numbing takes affect to suture, 5) speak up for elderly patients.

I would strongly urge everyone in need to choose a different Dr than this arrogant jerk. He’s not interested in a word you have to say and he never did take care of what I came to see him for. If this survey let me put zero stars, I would.

He was recommended to me by my family doctor. I had a squamous cell carcinoma skin cancer on my thumb that had to be removed . I was very nervous, but Dr. Fender gave me something to calm me and as he promised I felt absolutely nothing. Upon removing all cancer he had to put a skin graft on the exposed area. It healed beautifully! He is a very knowledgable , kind doctor who is a great surgeon and has a great personality. I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends.
