Top notch. Dr. Gillis made me feel comfortable and did and excellent job on the operation. I had little to no pain right after the operation. My results were not 100% relief but it did help me a fair amount to date. In time, it may be 100% relief, I am hoping.

He answered my questions and we are trying PT. My orthopedic doctor said that PT wouldn’t help but it is.

Unlike many other surgeons, Dr Gillis was easy to talk to and spent a significant amount of time actually listening to me describe my symptoms. He did not come across as being rushed and that I was just another patient but spent quality time with me. Post surgery he demonstrated extremely good bedside manners and a true concern for my progress and for the status of my recovery. Post surgery he did not immediately assign me to one of his residents or PA but visited me daily.
