Unacceptable wait time in the exam room
This was to be my second visit, but after a 40 minute wait in the exam room with nobody showing up or an explanation for such a long wait, I decided it was time to leave. Never mind that I had arrived and signed in at 8:40 AM for my 9 AM appointment. I was the only patient in the waiting room. Quickly I was called in and the routine weigh-in and BP was taken by a friendly nurse. Unfortunately it was the last time someone spoke to me, as I then sat in the exam room for the above mentioned 40 minutes trying to keep busy (with my phone, which helped keeping track of time) When I left I made sure to inform the nurse as well as the receptionist for my reason to exit. I noticed then, that I was the that morning's first sign-in and again as before, the waiting area was still empty. I state this fact because it was NOT busy at all nor was it late in the day, which could explain such an unusual long wait time. Thank you receptionist for attempting to apologize for what had no apology!

I've been extremely happy and satisfied with the treatment I'm receiving from Dr. Christopher Girgis for my kidney disease. He is very smart, conscientious, nice and pleasant to work with. He explains things very well to where its easy for us to follow and understand. The kidney is one of the most important organs in the human body and everyone should have their kidneys checked regularily. I highly recommend Dr Girgis to all my family, friends and everyone that needs their kidneys checked and treated for kidney disease.

I don't have a problem with him personally. I love him as my doctor! He's attentive and communicative. Yet his hours are hard to get through to anyone in the staff/office. I leave messages but, they are not returned. I'm waiting for critical info from lab work on my kidney condition. I am to stressed out, can't sleep and worried about what my results are. This is not good. As far as the answering service is concerned, they are worthless because they can't do anything to help me. I've been trying to get through for a month and have left at least three messages with the answering service (who keeps hanging up on me when I do get through) but no response back has been made. I don't feel this is good or fair patient service and provision of service. This office staff & answering service need to communicate in a more efficient manner as to best serve their patients...since we are paying for their employment. I normally do not make these kinds of posting, but I have been left with no other choice of contact to get through to them. Please use this constructive criticism to improve your service. Thank.you.
