The worst doctor doesn’t care about his patients
This doctor and his office staff are awful. They have no concern for you. They don’t listen or address your concerns. He should not be allowed to practice medicine.

Absolutely arrogant!
Not at all what an MD should be. An MD needs to be patient focused. Too often, doctors behave like the patient is beneath them. He could not be bothered to address any concern. I was supposed to get scans and that never happened. All he did was make unprofessional remarks about my other practitioners. Saying how wrong they were and they did not know what they were doing. He out right refused to address a single concern. Then he blows me off. People like this need to wake up and realize they are here to serve the people and not the other way around. If they cannot embrace what real medicine is about they need to be on wall street or in politics with the rest of the heartless, greedy bureau brats.

Back surgery
I’ve seen Dr. Hamill several times since 2009. He has performed two major fusion surgeries on my spine and we’re looking at another to replace and repair rods and fusion from 2009.

Dr Hamill is by far the best. For years I searched for the best doctor who knew how to help me. In 2016 and 2017 I had my back reconstructed, on my first visit right when he walked in and seen me, he told me he had done at least 600 of the type of surgeries I needed. I knew I was at the right place. Whenever I see people with back issues I tell them to go see Dr. Hamill. He has gave me my life back and I am thankful of him. He takes the time to explain procedures and reassures you it's a common procedure and not to worry. I was a nervous reck. A few months ago I was trying to make a appointment and was turned away. Dr. Hamill can you please contact me I recently started having back pain, my doctor took x-rays today (10/07/21) and said to go see you ASAP. Your#1fan

when it came time to see me. he left and had someone else see me. He did not want to face me because he knows he lied to me the other person showed me the x-ray they took that day. then said come back in two months She would not answer any question I had and waljed out Bottom line twj after surgery I can nott stand up He has blocked me from getting home rehab. they say he said I have to wait six months. This is the same doctor whk said before the opertion that I would be walking the same day and would be home in four days. The fact is I ended up in a senoir rehab for two months Northgate which is very good I still can not stand up and the doctor would not talk to me and blocks me from getting home rehab.

Dr Hamill and his staff were very helpful and friendly. I have to have straight back surgery and another disc repaired with Dr Egnatick. They will be teaming up for and all day surgery. I wouldn't trust any other Dr's both are highly qualified.

Absolutely wonderful. I got to the point of not walking but what troubled me the most was I could not ride my horses. Replaced two discs then added a few rods & screws and I’m enjoying my horses! Life is good! Yes I’d recommend him!

Barely had time for me - not at all interested in me or how my spine issue is affecting my daily life. I really felt like he couldn't be bothered. Told me to go to my primary care doctor if i needed pain medicine beyond over-the-counter products. Couldn't tell me what i should or shouldn't do exercise-wise. If physical therapy isn't helpful in a few months, the next step is surgery. That is a quantum leap forward - surely you want to do everything you can to prevent the need for surgery.

After 4 office appointments with Dr Hamill between 2019 and 2020 I made my decision to have my Fusion Thoracolumbar w/instrumentation performed by Dr Hamill. I made this decision after becoming comfortable with Dr Hamill and his highly regarded expertise and specialization in scoliosis.

Dr. Hamill did an discetomy on me in 2007. Before the surgery I was in pain 24/7. I couldn’t walk from my house to the corner of my street and I live two houses from the corner. I couldn’t did the shopping, stand or sit long. 11 years later I’m still pain free and walking my dog every day!

Simply the best spine specialist in this area. He is conservative in his decisions (IMO) does not default like some, to the scalpel! If he can help you he will, if not he will say so. A+++ ?

My daughter was referred to dr. Hamill by one of colleagues after his colleague felt doctor Hamill could potentially help us. When dr. Hamel walked into the room and within 1 minute said he could not help my daughter and didn't understand why we were there. He made us feel like we had inconvenienced him.I assumed since his colleagues thought he could help us that we would at least get treated with a little bit of respect. I will never recommend dr. Hamill to a family or friend.

My spine was a mess - was referred to Dr. Hamill by another surgeon who bluntly stated he didn't want to touch my back. Dr. Hamill instilled confidence in me & told me he felt he could make me 85% better than I was - I said yes immediately - 11 hours on the OR table & LOTS of instrumentation later I stand straight & am able to now walk without having to hold onto someone or something!! Best of all - NO PAIN!!! It's been 1 1/2 years!! I highly recommend Dr. Hamill.

Dr Hamill, stated Dont worry about the disability we will file that for you. Now it's a week after my surgery and I called his office to see if they had filed it and they said we only file for you if you bring us the paperwork. This was something that was never explained to us. I aslo called for a refill on my RX, they said I needed to call 24-48 hrs prior to running out, this once again was something that was never explained to me. So now I have to sit here in pain until Wednesday..

Dr. Hamill was very thorough and left no stone unturned. When the x - rays taken at the office did not give him the information he needed to determine the best course of action, he's having me go to Buffalo General for another x ray. I would definitely recommend him.
