Dr. Christopher Hamilton, MD

If it would allow me to give zero stars I would. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hamilton to go over my MRI report. The appointment was schedule over a week prior to my appt date. When I arrived at the office I was checked in and given paperwork to fill out. About half an hour later, the MA came out and told me he needed to schedule me with a different doctor because Dr. Hamilton didn’t handle meniscus injuries. When I stated that the website said he did, the MA then told me it was actually because he is leaving in July so they needed to schedule me with someone else. I live two hours away from the clinic so I asked if the doctor (or any other doctor) could at minimum tell me what my MRI said and tell me different options. He refused. I asked the manager why no one called me and she said she didn’t know why the medical assistant or the front desk didn’t reach out. The front desk person also said this happens often. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Dr. Hamilton is very personable and knowledgeable, however he does not respond to messages on the portal or phone calls. My post op appointment was with his PA who told me of a significant incident during surgery that was not told to me or my husband at the time. His communication skills are lacking.
