He damaged me so bad that I had to learn to walk again. He doesn't care or listen to his patient. He's cocky and arrogant. 12 years later, I have suffered a 3 inch cut in my illiac Vein causing total loss of blood. And then a CSF Leak. Don't trust this quack. It's the biggest mistake I ever made.

Doctor replaced a cervical disc with artificial one. After the surgery, pain was not completely gone, but surgeon advised it would take a while to completely go away due to compressed nerves. Year and a half later, pain, weakness, etc. are starting to return to my right side. Attempted to contact doctor's office for a week now, and they never pick up, nor will they return my call.

I would tell you to run the other way.He is by far the worst surgeon I have ever had the displeasure of working on me. He is untruthful, and I could say many other things about him but I think you get the message. Find a better surgeon other then him.

Excellent Dr, bed side manner is excellent as well. He listens to what you have to say, discussed everything in detail. Really put me at ease before I had surgery. Was having numbness , tingling and pain in both arms before surgery on my neck. Had a disc replacement surgery that went very well. Have not had any pain or problems since then! Thank you God for sending this man to me! Highly recommend this Dr.

I do believe under normal circumstances Dr. Hume and his staff would be great. I have PTSD and Bipolar II Disorder. My visit was not normal. Dr. Hume was at least aware of anxiety and fear and apparently it is okay to put all of the responsibility on the patients shoulders and teach lessons to naughty patients that cause a problem. What needed to happen was simple. Say "I don't know how to help you". I also received a different diagnosis from a neurologist after my last visit.

I had been waiting almost a year to get some help Dr. Hume really believed what I told him was wrong and he did my surgery and Im sore right now but my legs stopped aching. He is awesome. If you want someone to believe you when you tell him what the symptoms are and let him take a look at your MRI. I promise he will do a great job.And one of the nicest surgeons you will meet.

Dr. Hume is a very knowledgeable and caring physician. Since he moved his office over on Western, everything to do with the staff is wonderful. When compared to other doctors that I have seen, Dr Hume would never suggest surgery unless there would be a definite benefit to his patient. I highly recommend anyone with spine or neck problems to see doctor again before they do something they would long regret.

I hurt my back at work. After two years of being on the WC Merry-go-round and being released twice I had to hire an attorney. He fought for me and I was allowed to see Dr. Hume. After examining me he scheduled me for surgery. He was the only one that believed me. He didn't hurry me in and out of his office like some Dr's do, he actually listened. Surgery was a breeze.
