Dr. Christopher Kowalski, MD

We are from Missouri and were on vacation. I had an accident which tore my head open (Dr. Kowalski said I half scalped myself). We met Dr. Kowalski in Emergency. He took me to surgery and did an excellent job repairing my injury. He knew we were scheduled to fly home in three days and worked with us to make sure we got to go home on schedule. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is very compassionate and caring, plus a great surgeon and he took a great amount of time with us making sure we knew what we needed to do when we got home. I've had eight surgeries over my lifetime and only one surgeon came close to comparing to Dr. Kowalski. Many doctors should take lessons from him!!! My surgery was September 19, 2023, but I have not forgotten the kindness and skill of Dr. Kowalski!

My daughter and I both struggled with breathing. Doctor Kolowski performed a turbinate reduction and septum correction. He opted for an “open” surgery where he has to cut and peel back the nose. Both of our noses healed more crooked than we started with. I spent an additional $15,000 traveling to Florida to have a specialist attempt to correct her nose. I am still unsure what I will do to correct my nose. We pointed out the problems to Doctor Kolowski, however, he said there wasnt anything he could do to help my daughter. For my nose, he told me he could try and attach a suture that may or may not last or even make the I changes. We have been told both by the doctor in Florida and another plastic surgeon in Anchorage that the “open” procedure was unnecessary and they were shocked at our results for such a simple procedure. I am deeply saddened by our experiences. Dr. Kolowski is friendly and I am unsure where to go from here.

I had my nose (sinuses) laser'ed so I could breath better due to a 2006 deviated septum injury. The treatment sounded painful but was not. I was on pain medication before and after the treatment and couldn't same day drive. He shot my nose up just like the dentist. Now, I can breath and smell 75% better. I am glad I went.

Dr. Kowalski and his staff were friendly, attentive to my needs and concerns and barely made me wait in the waiting room at all. They were extremely flexible with my busy schedule and had great communication throughout the pre op and post op processes. I highly recommend ACENT for all your ear nose and throat needs! Thanks Dr. Kowalski and staff for making this process much less stressful than I expected. I can now breath clearly through my nose which is a big step in my life and I won't forget the care you all showed for me! Cheers James Thornton

Dr. Kowalski gave a thorough explanation of what was wrong and the best ways to approach treatment with several options along the way. He was very careful to make this as pain free as possible and the procedure was fairly quick. Followup was so positive and healing incredibly fast. I felt totally safe and secure the whole time.
