Arrogant, dismissive, and clueless
I was referred to ER by my OB clinic. Upon arrival it felt as though the doctor would rather tell me why there was no problem than listen to the issues at hand. He seemed annoyed that I came in informed on the condition I was dealing with and seemed to want to make a point that there was nothing wrong. Apparently blood sugars of 247 are normal for pregnant women as long as they resolve with 8 hrs of no food. His charting in my note carried similar condescending tones. If you are an informed female patient I’d avoid him. He seems intimidated by intelligence.

He was thorough, kind, concerned and was honestly one of the best ER doctors I’ve ever had. I am so grateful I landed in his hands.

Terrible experience. Rude and arrogant. My pregnant daughter was sent to er by her ob. Dr Krieg ran test and discussed procedures without even consulting with ob dept. Never even mention checking on baby. I had to ask multiple times for baby to be checked. Then when I requested that OB be notified he refused and made it very clear he was the Dr. and he would never go to ob and try to see their patients. Highly recommended if he walks into room request another dr. He may be great for anyone else but not for someone pregnant especially a first time mom.

I was seen in the E.R. at Norton Women's and Children's Hospital on 12/27/2018 and the hospital and the this E.R. doctor billed my insurance separately without my knowledge. The hospital was covered under my insurance policy as in-network, but this Dr is not and I was billed his full amount. How is someone to know when they have to go to the E.R. that the Dr working at the in-network hospital is not actually an employee of the hospital and will not bill as part of the hospital network?

Dr Krieg is the best ER Doctor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. my husband saw him with Stroke symptoms but the test weren't adding up. He had the gut feeling that something was missing and continued to dig until the bleed was actually found. Thank God for Dr. Krieg.

When my husband was sick with abnormal symptoms Dr. Krieg truly cared about finding the answer. When he finally found out exactly what the issue was he came in, sat down, and told us how relieved he was that it was his gallbladder rather than cancer because my husband's symptoms pointed more to cancer and not gallstones. He said he had never had a patient come in with those symptoms and it not be something life threatening/serious. I was very happy with his care and would see him again if needed

I saw Dr. Krieg in the ER at Norton Women's and Children's Hospital. Dr. Krieg did not seem to listen to or understand my concerns. He was condescending, disrespectful, and insensitive about my health as a woman. He said I had been "misguided" by the immediate care physician who referred me to come to the ER after she saw me. A nurse, rather than the doctor, told me my diagnosis and handed me a prescription as the nurse was literally walking me out the door. Dr. Krieg did not help me.

Dr.Krieg was VERY nasty, rude, and unprofessional. I have been a nurse for 20 years and was appalled to be treated with such contempt and poor regard for my health. He had a very poor bedside manor and I believe he should not be working in an emergency room setting. I am an ICU nurse and was horrified to know that this is the first impression people see of the hospital. Norton Suburban Hospital will shut down if this is all they have to offer. If you need compentency and compassion-keep looking.
