Dr. Christopher Maxwell, MD

Dr. Maxwell became for provider in 2022. I was very unhappy with Bothwell Providers in Sedalia, Mo. Dr. Maxwell is passionate about his job as well listens to my concerns when I need a refill his muse is on it within a matter of minutes. Kingsville is a 45 min drive and it’s worth driving for a Dr. that truly cares and a nurse that listens to my concerns and passes them right on to Dr. Maxwell without a hesitation. The staff at Kingsville Medical is always polite, courteous, the wait time to see him is very quick. The rooms are clean. I would recommend this Dr. and his staff to anyone without hesitation. Thank you guys very giving me back my mental stability and Thank you for everything. None of you go unrecognized!!

Many years ago, Dr Christopher Maxwell was my physician. And he was great and still to this day I would say he is one of the best out there with a great bedside manner, and he listens well. He does care and is sympathetic. Now just like any other doc he must have patients sign contracts when it comes to opioids. What I didn't read was the part of changing pharmacies, and I did do that without notifying my doc. At the same time I threw away an old prescription bottle that someone grabbed out of my trashcan and tried to get filled at the old pharmacy. Dr Maxwell had to drop me as a patient. That was completely understandable, yes I was a little confused at the time because I didn't understand why he couldn't just not prescribe me the opioid and continue being my doc for everything else that was wrong. But he did what was right for him at that time. No hard feelings Chris I still say you are one of the number 1 doc's out there even 20 years later. I do pay more attention to contracts now.

Worst experience I ever had. Didn’t listen to any of my concerns and didn’t seem concerned about my previous back injury or I stated I have allergies to sulfa and sulfur and acted like I was lying instead of offering an allergy test. Made me take a pee test without any explanation. It would’ve been nice if he at least seemed like he cared.
