Dr. Christopher O'Neill, DO

I presented to Southdale ED back in January 2025, with concerns of potential pneumonia due to a cough that wouldn't go away, fever, loss of appetite GI discomfort and other symptoms. Waited for 5 hours, was barely looked at. RN took vitals and swabbed for flu and covid. After waiting for so long, Dr.Oneil barely saw me and was rushing through, no compassion shown. He denied me a chest X-Ray and was twisting my words when I was explaining my symptoms. Turns out he doesn't know what the medical term 'phlegm' is, and rushed out telling the RN to get me discharged and that I just have the flu. RN was even more rude and poking fun of sick patients saying 'you have the flu just like the rest of MN, time to go home and tret the symptoms'. Two, weeks later my symptoms are persistent and I go to see my Principal Provider. He tells me that I have a sinus infection and getting over pneumonia, after carefully examining me and running necessary tests. Ended up on antibiotics. Not because of O'Neil.

My wife presented to an Urgency Center and was treated by Dr. O’Neill. He was insightful, courteous, and thorough in coming to a prognosis and recommendations. Highly recommend.

I went to the ER recently for what I thought was a possible heart attack. I was seen quickly and treated with respect. Dr O'Neil was very professional, answerd all my questions and I left the ER feeling satisfied with the care that was provided to me.

I was treated rudely by this "dr" He was argumentative with me and dismissive. Hardly laid a finger on me. I was concerned about blood clots in my lung and wanted a CT scan. I was denied that based on his excuse "itll release radiation." He told us he "can tell i dont have blood clots in my lungs by just looking at me." All they did was take my blood pressure and through my shirt he used his stethoscope for me to take 2 breaths. Worst medical treatment I have ever recieved. Avoid this doctor if you want to live.
