Excellent surgeon for Total Knee Replacement
Dr. Palmer reviewed MRI and was clear and concise with further treatment which was Total Knee Replacement utilizing the Mako robot. The surgery was successful, minimal scar, he treated pain accordingly, and I can walk again as I did years ago.I highly recommend Dr. Palmer and his staff, Lis Chapelle (NP) and Brandon (PA) for your orthopedic needs.I have referred several people to Dr. Palmer for their TKA.

Physician’s physician
I am a retired primary care physician who has had numerous orthopedic surgeries over over the last 40 years . I saw Dr Palmer regarding a total knee replacement at the urging of my daughter who is a Physical therapist who has seen numerous post operative patients of Dr Palmer. He was pleasant , engaged and his office staff remarkably efficient . My visit was on time and completed in less than 1 hour with X-rays . Surgery was scheduled before I left . If you need a TOTAL KNEE or HIP replacement I would highly recommend him as a surgeon .

Excellent First Visit
Dr Palmer immediately put me at ease. His knowledge and experience were very apparent. He was not pushy or over eager to perform surgery. He could sense my hesitation and said to take my time and be comfortable with my decision. He came very highly recommended and I’m so thankful I followed the recommendation. They were able to get me an appointment in a timely manner. I’ve scheduled my surgery and have absolute confidence I’ve made the right decision.

Only will see once
Had TKRS Surgery was great no complaints. But after surgery had an accident and hurt the muscles on the side of the surgical knee. Never could see the Dr. again just PA. After 9 months and still having issues the PA was not even sure what to do, yet I still was not referred back to the Dr.

Very unhappy
His assistant held my sciatic nerve in such a way during surgery that I now have drop foot and nerve damage. Possibly 6 to 12 months before my foot is back to normal. This debilitating side effect was not discussed prior to surgery. Think twice before using this man.

Highly recommend
Everyone my mom and I encountered in this office on 10/3 was exceptional! Beyond kind and wanting to make sure my mom understood everything (even if it took explaining a couple times). I have worked for another healthcare system for over 19 years and was floored by this teams care and compassion! Would recommend Dr. Palmer and his team to anyone!

Life Altering Hip Replacement
Dr. Palmer performed a Mako Robotic Complete Hip Replacement on my right hip 18 months ago. I went from being in constant pain and walking with a cane, to walking unassisted and pain free within a couple of months. Most of the pain was gone after the surgery, I just needed physical therapy to strengthen my muscles again. I have been able to resume all the physical activities I previously enjoyed. I am so grateful to Dr. Palmer and his staff!
