He took time to explain the problem with my knee. He assured me that I didn't need surgery. I got a steroid shot. Yes I would definitely recommend him. He is also a very nice person .

Dr. Piller performed surgery to repair a torn quadriceps. Although he was scheduled to leave the country on vacation in the afternoon, he was conscientious and scheduled the operation for that morning. As I understood the quicker the operation the better the results. It is now 6 months later and I am doing extremely well.

Dr. Piller and his staff were very professional and efficient during the treatment and surgery of a total hip replacement. My questions and options were thoroughly discussed during my appointments and my outcome was a successful total hip replacement. Follow up appointments were made for me as well as a physical therapy treatment plan that was accepted by my insurance. I would highly recommend Dr. Piller and his staff for treatment of Orthopaedic needs or sports injuries.

I had a total knee replacement 9/4 . PT two days later walked in with only a cane. Before I was in constant pain. It has been 6 weeks, back to work feeling great, no pain. I would recommend him to anyone. Laura his NP, who couldn't love her. Explained everything, what to expect with my new knee. His entire staff was wonderful, supporting, cheerful and caring. They recommend PT as out patient in Floyd/Cherokee Hospital in Centre, Al great care there also.

I am 64 yr old female with multiple orthopedic and other health issues.Dr. Piller recently did a complete hip replacement for me.Prior to surgery, I was unable to stand or walk without assistance and had constant hip, leg and knee pain for several years.Husband is in poor health and I was reluctant to have surgery as I am his primary caregiver. Dr. Piller has given me my life back.Pain is gone.I can walk, stand, climb stairs, drive, grocery shop, and it’s only been 4 months. He is the best!

Dr. Piller is the only doctor that I trust with my knees! I have had 2 separate surgeries on my left knee. The first was 5 years ago, repairing my meniscus and torn ACL. My most recent surgery was 2 weeks ago to do a scope on my knee. I appreciate that he listens to all of my questions and gives thoughtful answers. He is thorough in explaining his plan of action and my expected outcomes. He has his patient's best interest at heart and makes decisions based on long-term effects.

Dr. Piller did a total knee replacement for me six weeks ago. I couldn't be happier. I am walking for the first time in five years with no pain in that knee. I still have to do my homework, exercise etc. He is very approachable and did a great job!

Simply stated - THE BEST!!! I have been a patient of Dr. Piller's, as needed, for over 10 years - before he arrived in Rome I would have to travel to Atlanta. He has performed several procedures on my knee, and most recently a total knee replacement. I have been very happy with the outcome of the procedures and it is great to be pain free! I have nothing less than complete confidence in his skill and plan of care. Rome, NW Georgia, and the surrounding area is blessed to have Dr. Piller. A+++++

After two of my Harbin Clinic Orthopaedic surgeons retired, I needed a total knee replacement. I knew of Dr. Piller from many friends who he had repaired shoulders. When I asked for a good knee surgeon, Dr. Piller was recommended. I had a total knee replacement on Feb. 1, 2018 and had a great outcome. I was released by Dr. Piller May 9. I have had no problems, recovery has gone very well and I was back to my routine activities within 4 weeks. I appreciate the care I received.

Dr. Piller did an amazing job! I had surgery on my left elbow for bursa removal and tendon repair. For almost a year I had consistent pain and swelling and very limited use of my arm. I am starting my seventh week post-surgery and have had no pain--even during physical therapy. He did an excellent job of explaining the issue I had and what he could do to correct it. I hope I do not have any other issues, but if I do, Dr. Pillar will be the one that I trust to do the job.

I have been a patient of Dr. Piller's since 2011 and would never use any other orthopedic surgeon. He has performed three surgeries on me and all have had excellent results! The whole staff in his office are tops in my book! A huge shout out to Laura Banks, his PA and Lisa Pledger, his assistant! Everyone there is so caring and professional that they all feel like family. I recently had a Total Right Knee replacement and the results were outstanding! I highly recommend Dr. Piller!

My primary concern with a Doctor is his effectiveness. The office visits and friendliness etc are not my concern when I need surgery done. Did he do what he said he would and could and are my results satisfactory? Dr Piller did a great job on my shoulder. He said he could fix it and he did. As far as I am concerned that's an A+ in my book. I would trust him with any future surgery and will seek him out if the need arises. Thank you Dr Piller.
