DOES NOT care that misdiagnoses can be harmful
I'm a veteran with a 100% disability rating. I had been breaking out with 2 different conditions and I couldn't figure out why so I sought treatment at the VA. My primary care physician gave me all sorts of creams that didn't work. I fought to get a 'telederm' appointment. A tech took photos, sent them to a Puget Sound specialist who misdiagnosed one condition and couldn't diagnose the other. One of my community doctors that I pay out of pocket for was convinced that I had celiac disease. I gave up gluten and one of the conditions cleared up. The other condition was diagnosed as eczema but eczema creams didn't help. I kept reporting this to my primary care physician but after referring me more than once to the VA dermatology clinic, I was denied further care. I went to patient advocate who finally got me an appointment at Affiliated Dermatology, where I was diagnosed with Psoriasis and Celiac Disease. I went back to patient advocate and asked to have a meeting with Dr Reardon to find o
