No Empathy Whatsoever
I have been seeing Reeves for five years now. I have been seeing a change in his attitude. He has become visibly frustrated in the past two years. He is impatient, downright rude. He hates listening to you. On my last appointment, he was short, dismissive and even sarcastic. If you dare mention an issue you have that you may have forgotten to mention to the nurse prior to your appointment, he will quickly remind you what «  We are here for ». He does not like to hear about depression , weight gain or alcohol consumption. This doctor loves to mention God but doesn’t behave like a Christian with his patients. I have been feeling more and more uncomfortable with him lately and I am firing him. Dr Reeves: «  Have an attitude check done or change profession ! »

Bad Attitude
My son and I have been a patient of Dr. Reeves for year's, so when my mothers PCP retired I told her to see Dr. Reeves. She got an appointment with him and she wasn't very happy with him on their first and second appointment. I thought that maybe it was just that she was upset about the change in the way her care was being handled with a different Dr. she stated that he was very rude and talked hateful to her and would not answer her questions. I though this was very strange from the Dr. I know so I decided to go with her on the third appointment to see if it was just a miscommunication between the two. When Dr. Reeves keep asking the same question and keep getting the same answer I tried to word it differently so she would understand what he was ask, He got rude with me, telling me that , that was his office and he would ask the question. I tried to explain and he cut me off which upset my mother after that he was very hateful to both of us. My mother and I will be changing Dr.'s.

Nice guy but dismissed my problems due to weight
Dr. Reeves is a nice guy. I visited him at his original practice and then at the Mercer. From 2010-2017 I was his patient. After moving away and trying to find doctors during the pandemic, I recently found out I have an autoimmune condition. Dr. Reeves dismissed my initial low ANA positive in 2016, rather than send me to a Rhuematologist for further Eval. I spent 7 yrs years having random testing done, only to find out I have a rather bad autoimmune disease. His focus is on weight loss and well being, which is great but it superseded his ability to diagnose me properly and early. My husband really liked him (my hubby is healthy), however I felt pretty disappointed in my care.

Distant and Aloof
He is distant and aloof. Good asking him questions. He is also far more worried about putting all his reports together, while you wait in patient area, than he is having a dialogue with his patients. His entire staff has turned over and it is difficult to 1) get them to call you back 2) not make errors. Does my review seem overly negative? Yeah, it does. The problem with Reeves is he seems far more interested in keeping constant flow of patients and his reports done on patient time, than actually providing patient care.

I have been a patient since 2019. I was looking for someone that didn't leave me in waiting room for 1-1 1/2 hours. Upon meeting Dr. Reeves, he was kind, very organized, went over my medications with a fine tooth comb. He could be thought of as rude, however, he is only keeping me on tract to solve my current problem. The staff has been nothing but kind to my and my husband. Had a few glitches in the beginning but were solved satisfactory. I think he is a great doctor.

I have been see Dr. Reeves since 2005. He is an amazing Doctor. He goes over and beyond to make sure I have the right medical treatments. I have battled cancer and he sent me to the right doctor to get my treatments started. My ex husband was very sick and Dr. Reeves was not his doctor but he always went to check on him at the hospital and let me know how he was doing. (At that time we were married) I can’t say nothing but good things about him.

He was compassionate and listened to exactly what I was going through. He came up with a plan that far exceeded my expectations and when things went wrong he was able to work me into his already full schedule to get me on a different plan to get better. Very good. Very smart. Very willing to help.

I wrote a long, glowing review ? unfortunately, too long for the character limit. Suffice it to say, my wife and I can?t say enough good things about Grace Family Practice, and after our consultation today ? my first, her second ? we look forward to a long Doctor-patient relationship! God bless Dr. Reeves, Linda, and Angelia!
