I would advise others to seek care elsewhere. After a 4 month wait to be seen I had my initial visit with Dr Rice. I looked past the food stains on his coat and was hopeful he was knowledgeable about autoimmune diseases and could offer some help. I was incorrect. He seemed unaware of the impacts of Sjoegren’s disease beyond dry eyes and mouth. He ordered multiple lab tests and stated he would follow up the next week. I never heard back. I messaged and they said he would get back with me. I heard nothing for weeks and reached back out….and still nothing. This visit was a waste of time and he is very incompetent and inconsiderate. He should not be practicing medicine.

Extremely insensitive!
I suffer from several chronic illnesses but was doing well the first time I saw Dr. Rice. The next time I saw him, I was in a horrible flare and could barely walk. He was completely insensitive to my pain and treated me like I was just looking for opioids. I never thought my doctor would treat me like I was some kind of addict. I tried contacting him several times and he would not even return my calls! I would not recommend Dr. Rice for anyone!
