Absolutely the best doctor we have ever dealt with for any type of medicine, my child looks forward to seeing him like he is a member of our family... I highly recommend using Dr. Rittmeyer for anything that you need that he specializes in, him and his staff are the absolute best you will actually enjoy a doctors visit for a change...

Him and the office staff took the time to make sure we had all questions answered and went out of their way to help with our out of pocket costs our sons formula.

We always have a wonderful visit

I've been a patient since January 2019 and while I've made much improvement there's still flaws. Under pediatric care I have no real say in the meds I'm given so I just generally hope they're actually helping. It's sad that they don't remember/update your file. The most embarrassing thing though was when he told me I could take Ibuprofen. Ibuprofen makes anyone with IBD have intestinal bleeding. It horrifies me to think of how many parents or young patients he told that they can take it. I have to pay for his 5 minute visit, just to hear that. Embarrassing.

My boys have "outgrown" Dr. Rittmeyer but we've been seeing him over the years. He's the best at detecting problems and offering solutions. Patient relationship, too: even though there would be a year or more between visits, he'd still remember what my boys said or did during previous visits. Yes, there are long waits and you have to schedule an appointment well in advance. Yes, he might have to rush off if there is an emergency. But you know why? Because he's the best and everyone needs him.

I heard that the doctor wasn't the best. I wanted to give him and their office the benefit of the doubt. Afterall I worked in healthcare for over a decade, I get it! I had a number of bad experiences with the office (they didnt call me after they found a few things from my sons biopsy!! I called THEM 6 weeks later saying he was STILL puking ONE EXAMPLE), but the last straw was yesterday when my son had an appt with Alicia the NP. After waiting an hour with 3 kids (spring break) I was told to go to the hospital for xrays (xray tech on vacation). Well why didn't they say I'd have to do that when I booked the appt over the phone? OR why didn't they say that an hour ago when I first checked in?? I drove 45 mins one way for this appt entertaining 3 kids and now we have to leave and wait around there, only to come back where we started! I kindly asked to speak to Alicia to explain that my son had an Xray THERE 3 wks ago for the exact same issues but she outright refused to even speak to me!

Dr. Rittmeyer quickly added us into his schedule when my child was in pain. He has funny, personable, and kind. We felt confident we were in great hands upon leaving the office. Savannah is lucky to have him in our community!

The office entirely is very nice and welcoming. Love it here.

I have been waiting since December to get a letter of medical necessity sent over to the company we use for my daughter's formula, it is currently May and they still have not sent the correct paperwork. I have spoke with several people from Rittmeyer's office several times A DAY and still nothing! The office manager is never there and when I did speak with her, she said she would handle it. That was weeks ago and now she's "out of the office for a while" according to other staff. I have been paying out of pocket for my daughter's formula since December at around $800 a month. The office definitely has room for improvements starting with staff and management that can actually do their job.

Dr.Rittmeyer has always been welcoming and so nice! His office staff is ok, but he listens and cares and tells jokes that my sons always laugh at when we go. He is my son’s Dr and has helped us so much! I’m glad we have him as our Dr! I recommend 100%!

Dr. Rittmeyer is a breath of fresh air. He was extremely kind and put my nervous 9 year old at ease immediately . He spoke directly to my son about his issues and developed a treatment plan to get him back on track . My son has been looking up jokes that he can’t wait to tell Dr. Rittmeyer at his next appointment. As you can imagine , this is pure gold for a concerned mom.

The staff and doctors are wonderful. They always have a smile on their face and are willing to do anything to help. They work with your schedule. The biggest thing to me was they made my 7 year old daughter feel completely at ease! She wasn't worried about the x-rays or anything. Everything is there and convenient. You hardly wait for the appointments or test results.
