No help at all
Went for continuous uti s for my grandmother. He told us her symptoms were not related to uti’s (weakness, confusion and falls). Did a ua never gave us the results that turned out to be positive. Told us to come back in 3 months if they continued. We decided not to return and go to a different urologist and she was very productive and grandma has not had a uti since and it’s been about six weeks. Before it was every other week after she finished antibiotics.

Dr Tam was very patient and understanding during my entire encounter with him. He listened to my symptoms and concerns and within a few days of starting a new medication he prescribed I felt so much better. I will definitely be recommending him to all of my friends with similar issues

Excellent Surgery for RASP Procedure
Primary purpose of RASP Procedure turned out to be very effective. During my Recovery night in Hospital after surgery, he responded rapidly to my Athena Health comment; that I sent to him via my cell phone ... (re: my POSTIVE feedback on medical care for Surgery & Recovery in Hospital). Since the 'Robot-Assist' was the Simple approach -- the largest incision (into my abdomen) was only approx 3-to-4 inches. The application of the 'body glue' was very impressive (no stiches needed) ... and final surface of 'healed' incision is smooth, and shows minimal 'invasion'. In weeks leading up to Surgery Day, Dr Tam took time to meet with me; and allowed adequate time (at appointments) to cover any relevant questions that I had. For 6-month follow-up care, his recommendations for my secondary issues have been very helpful and have sufficiently solved those problems, so far. He chose the RASP Procedure right away; instead of the 'wait-and-see' approach. My prior symptoms needed prompt care.

Super helpful and beyond kind
Dr. Tam was kind, understanding, and had some of the best bed side manner I have ever experienced. He did a surgery for me and it completely fixed all my issues. I couldn’t say better things about Dr. Tam!

Completely disappointed
My first and only visit as Dr Tam simply had no advice or information. After listening to my questions impatiently he said he would talk to me if the condition worsened. After seeking further medical advice I learned there was much more someone in his position should have offered. The visit was misleading and a waste of time.

First time meeting him, his words were “nothing I can do for you, we can go in and take a look”. After several date changes, finally go in. He didn’t know why I was actually there and didn’t even review the preop labs, which showed several negatives.
