Rude and arrogant
I was referred to him through the ER with a bone broken off my ankle during the appointment he told me he couldn’t see what the radiologist had seen. I tried to explain to him how much pain I was in with my heel and the going up the back of my leg he did not take anything I said into consideration, he kept talking over me and wouldn’t listen to what I had to say he put me in a boot and sent me on my way. I would never recommend this doctor again nor would I ever see him again I have already scheduled a second opinion with another orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Tisdel surgically repaired each of my feet, in 2007 & 2010, by performing a triple arthrodesis on each. After first going for a second opinion to a doc who seemed nervous about performing this procedure, I chose to stay with Dr. Tisdel as he seemed confident & I knew he had had many years of experience with this surgery. My recuperation and PT went well & I am very pleased with the mobility of my feet (which contain a total of 16 pieces of substantial hardware!) & find my shoes fit well.

I saw him a few years ago for knee pain. I was always active and when I injured my knee., I was unable to workout and gain a lot of weight. I already was feeling down about my weight gain. He was so cruel and arrogant he made me cry during the office visit! His resident gave me a Kleenex and comforted me! I ended up doing physical therapy through him but I will NOT EVER recommend HIM to anyone!!

After spending countless months seeing a podiatrist for my foot problems, I was referred to Dr. Tisdel. I was a bit apprehensive and nervous. From my first visit, I felt comfortable and like I was in good hands. I ended up having a tendon transfer surgery by him and could not be happier. It's been 2 months and I am already walking without a boot or any assistance. The wait times can be a bit unbearable, over an hour at my last visit once in exam room. But well worth it!

He was rude and arrogant. His diagnosis was so wrong compared to 2 other orthopedic surgeons who agreed on the treatment plan. He spend little time listening and because I have diabetes, he told me to learn to live with the foot pain. I have had a minor surgery that has fixed the problem. If I had listened to him, I would still be suffering. I am a firm believer in 2nd or 3rd opinions especially if the doctor is rude and uncaring.
