Misdiagnosis of historic Retinopathy
I was establishing a new provider, as I just moved here. I had been diagnosed with retinopathy 7 yrs previous and was being treated . Dr. Walton did an examination and tests and stated there was no retinopathy that he could see. A year later I found another provider. The retinopathy has advanced in my eye to the point of advanced treatment because I didn't receive treatment for over a year.

Diagnosis and Treatment
I hope no one else ever has to experience what I went through after 2 years of diagnosis and treatment with Dr. Walton. I have a spot this has caused me to have very limited vision and acuity in my eye. I kept telling Dr. Walton my vision was worsening after each visit and the spot got more extensive and more pronounced. I placed my trust in him for 2 years. He kept telling me it was "scar tissue". This didn't make sense because once a scar is in place it doesn't grow. I finally sought out a second opinion. He completely missed my diagnosis which has cost me almost a complete loss of vision. I now have the correct diagnosis from another doctor and it is "lipid keratopathy". I am currently getting treatment but with a delayed and wrong diagnosis, my vision may never return to what it was before. I am deeply saddened and have suffered much grief as a result. I hope that anyone reading this will seek out a second opinion before trusting someone like Dr. Walton.

Dr. Walton & staff are excellent! Very professional, detailed & friendly - they truly care about your wellbeing & make sure that you are fully informed at all times. I recently had Lasik eye surgery performed by Dr. Walton & I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Consultation, pre-operation, operation & post-operation Dr. Walton & staff were flawless - I could not have possibly asked for a better experience! Absolutely the best in town & the best in business

Dr. Walton takes time to explain things with you. He is friendly and you can tell he cares. His nurses are helpful and show they care as well. My previous eye doctor retired and I wanted to find a young and good one. I'm with Dr. Walton now for the duration.
