He was my psychiatrist at Lakeside hospital in Arlington TN. With one 3-5 minute assessment he dismissed everything I told him as being psychosomatic. I've seen psychiatrists for years and they never suggested my symptoms were psychosomatic. He became upset when I wasn't felling much better by my 4th day there. He should know that antidepressant meds often take 4-6 weeks to work. Fool. After that I just pretended I was better in order to leave. His arro lgance is astounding. He did not help me at all.

I was hesitant about this process, even reluctant to have to face some of my issues. I was very impressed by Dr. White’s ability to help me work through some tough circumstances. He has developed an evolving treatment plan that is very specific to my needs and makes adjustments as we need to. This has really helped me through difficult times, and I feel is giving me the tools necessary for continued success. I highly recommend Dr. White to provide therapy in a way that is goal oriented and challenging. He will ask tough questions, but it helps to get you to the core of an issue to help you best achieve long term success.

My experience with Dr. White has been fantastic. He is the best psychiatrist I have interacted with thus far. He was open to trying different medications to find out what best suits me. He's a good listener and easy to talk to. He also explained things to me in a way I could understand. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dr White has been very helpful in making adjustments incrementally until finding the proper mix and dosages. I feel extremely confident in his abilities and counsel. I have a psychologist I use for for cognitive therapy for times that I need more in depth therapy.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. White?
Dr White is the worst doctor I have encountered. He dismissed my fears of a procedure, saying I was being unreasonable. He is rude and self-serving. Even when two other psychiatrists and three therapists disagreed with his diagnosis of me, he still would not consider changing his opinion. I ended up leaving his practice. My new psychiatrist immediately changed my medications (something Dr White refused to do) and I have never felt better.

I found Dr. White to be very therapeutic, which seems to go against the norm for many psychiatrists. He seems to listen attentively. He'll challenge you by asking the hard questions.

While I like Dr. White and his approach I could see he would not be the doctor for everyone. He is direct and to the point. It is strictly a question and answer session. No room for small talk. With that being said heis very knowledgeable and I feel he really wants to help you just have to be patient with him.

Two words come to mind when I think of Dr White - arrogant a**. He appears very knowledgable. However his bedside manner is cold and distant. The rest of the staff are very friendly.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. White?
Dr. White was very rude and short with me. He was very judgmental about circumstances that lead me to seek his psychological help. He also flat out insulted my deceased sister who died of an overdose and dismissed my grief with, What else would you expect from an addict? Not to mention he would not listen to me when describing side effects of medication. I had to find another doctor so I wasn't continuously vomiting due to medication.
