I was not happy with my primary care doctor and changed my insurance to Dr. Baze without visiting her office. I got the most bizarre call from Kelly today, from her office, telling me my insurance had chosen Dr. Baze and I needed to call them and change back to my original doctor. I kept asking questions and she kept telling me more and more strange things. She said if I wanted to stay with Dr Baze, I had to make an appointment so they could get my "codes". I asked what codes are you talking about, she then said she would get someone to talk to me, put me on hold for several minutes, then said I could make an appointment whenever I wanted. At this point, I no longer wanted to make an appointment with Dr. Baze and will try my luck with another primary care doctor.

Dr is Ok, but office staff is the worst
Stay away!!! Absolute nightmare of an office staff. Kelly is uncaring and has horrendous customer service skills. They have a 7 minute window and I was on the phone with Kelly at 3:36 (for my 3:30 appointment) explaining I’m turning into your parking lot and will be walking in now. She informed me at 3:36 my appointment was cancelled due to a no show despite having until 3:38 before you are officially late. I was in the parking lot at 3:37 and walked in and they said I had to reschedule. There was ABSOLUTELY NO ONE in the waiting room or the parking lot. I can’t tell you how many times over the last decade I have waited 20-30 minutes before I’m even seen. I hope Christy Baze sees this and realizes an office staff with zero compassion for the people that keep this place in business, can make or break your practice. You have lost a customer and I hope this review keeps others from having service this bad. Kelly and La Trae, congrats on demonstrating what it’s like having zero compassion.

Have the same problem as other reviewers. They won’t give scripts that are urgent unless you come in to see them even though I have done labs and also have labs done every three months with another doctor and have them Sent to them. They claim they need to see me and so I asked for a months worth of meds because I broke my arm and I’m disabled so I could not drive and they would only give me 2 weeks. This is not Dr. baze. I see Annie Botchway. So i don’t know if this is new policy or what.

Gone to Dr Baze for about 5 years. Was very pleased, referred friends, knew the staff. Something is different now. I haven't seen her for over a year bc the PA takes all of the appointments. The PA is wonderful; I actually prefer her, now. But we can't get scripts refilled without an appt & no appointments open for days. Tried to schedule one today & when none were open till Friday (it's Monday), I said I better go to urgent care instead. She hung up on me mid-sentence. Time for a new doctor. :(

Did not get a reminder and missed getting a 6-month blood check. Later I could not get prescriptions authorized even though I had an annual exam already scheduled a month in advance (the earliest I could get and with the PA, not Dr. Baze) and they would not give me bridge scripts to make it to the exam date. These were critical scripts like statins. I've seen Dr. Baze twice before when Dr. Merrill was out of the office and she seems competent but this issue is an absolute non-starter for me.

She is an excellent doctor, takes time to listen and answer any questions you may have. Which is so rare these days.
