One of the worst doctor experiences I've had. During my first visit with Aves she was curt and dismissive. She should really realize, especially with young women, that when she is so terse and dispassionate it can make an already potentially nerve-wracking experience much worse. I wish some doctors would take a step back and think about the humane aspects of medicine as opposed to the 5 minute, clinical transaction she treats it as. I traveled all the way down to Princeton for a new OB and it was the most pleasant, night and day experience.

I couldn’t have had a more different experience with Dr Aves than the other commenters. I switched to her from another dr in the practice midway through the end of a high risk pregnancy. She was supportive, answered all of my questions, and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. She did my C-section, which had zero complications and healed beautifully. When my child was diagnosed with a genetic disorder after birth, she was kind, compassionate, and, again, supportive. She was great!

Unprofessional, uninformed and under prepared.Went to Aves first for an annual exam where she failed to detect. 10cm fibroid. After I was hospitalized for complications from the fibroid, she offered no compassion or alternative treatments for it other than a hysterectomy! This approach according to other doctors, patients and medical journals is outdated. This person is inexperienced and afraid to admit it.She had no care towards my issues other than collecting a paycheck.Beware of this frightful

I was a high risk pregnancy. I tried to address my concerns and things that were important to me but she would cut me off and speak over me. She laughed in my face when I told her that I had a birth plan and told me that pregnancies never go as planned, which I was aware of because that wasn't my first pregnancy. I just wanted the doctors to be aware of my concerns. She wouldn't take them into consideration and only continued to speak down to me like I was stupid, like I was wasting her time.
