Rude, dismissive and absent
Dr Hernandez did not listen to my explanation of my injury. She did not listen to the details of my daily symptoms. I waited three hours to be seen and I had an appointment scheduled. She was rude. Had a brand new technician run all test. Contradicted the diagnoses of three other doctors and was paid by an employer to give a review that would be advantageous for my employer on a workers comp claim. She gave opinions on neurology when that is not her field. Had me return for a follow up appointment and never met with me. Had the same inexperience technician run one test and never reviewed and results with me.

Tear duct not draining
I went in to see Dr. Hernamdez because my eyes were tearing and constantly tears running down my face. She tried a probe which was too small. She said she had to order the larger probe, and made an appointment for a month later. Well, that month came and they said the probe didn't come in. So, they made another appointment for again another month, this time it was on my birthday. Now it's been over two months and they said it still didn't arrive. I find this unacceptable. Plus, I called the office four times after this, they sent my calls to an answering machine and never returned my calls. I do not recommend this place to anyone seeking an Ophthalmologist. They I suppose they consider themselves professionals. I don't think so. Tomorrow I am going to go to the office for some answers. Wish me luck.

I scheduled an appointment for my mother who is 91 years old and resides in an ALF. I completed her paperwork and showed up for the appointment with her. Dr. refuse to speak to me or let me in the room with her. I explain that mother suffers from dementia and wouldn’t be able to give a full history of her conditions. All I was told is that the doctor would call me if she had any questions. In addition I had faxed the paperwork all eight pages and prescription list the day before. When I got there I explained that I had faxed it and they just looked at me and hadn’t checked their faxes the day before.

The staff at Dr Hernandez office in coral springs made my mother very uncomfortable all because she needed assistance in filling out intake form. No one attempted to help her and I was told to leave after I ask to speak to someone of high rankings. Definitely not the experience I was expecting going into a Dr office. Do your homework first before going to this office.
