Dr. Claire Kassakian, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Kassakian for about 6 years now. She's probably the best doctor I've ever had. She cares a great deal about her patients. She listens. She takes a holistic approach to her patients. I can talk her about anything. She even scolded me once for not coming to her when i had pneumonia, and instead going to urgent care.

Answers all questions with respect to patient. Always positive and her bedside manner is one of genuine concern and wonderfully friendly. I always leave her company satisfied that she has studied the status of my health and so informed me.

First appointment was with Dr. K in Astoria. First impression was this doctor cared about her patients which was obvious with the amount of time and questions. Dr. K immediately put me in my comfort zone. I was disappointed when told Dr. K would no longer be available at CMH but could make appointments in Portland. I've been happy with each of my follow up appointments getting information along with words of encouragement which is very important. Also the options I've been given.

Dr. Kassakian is very understanding. She does and excellent job listening and then explaining. Dr. Kassakian makes sure she is answering your questions. I feel like she is looking out for me and will do what needs to be done for my best interest.

Referred to Dr. Kassakian by my family doctor for blood pressure issues. Dr. Kassakian listens to my issues, explains her analysis and offers recommendations that are easy to understand. The staff is courteous and thorough from the scheduling of appointments, reminders of appointments as well as reminders for laboratory work prior to meeting with Dr. Kassakian. She is always very professional and I would recommend her for anyone in need of her medical specialty.

I was first introduces to Dr. Kassakian through my primary doctor at Providence. Since meeting with her, I have found that she is very analytical and honest when dealing with her patient. This includes the entire office in communicating with my various particulars. To me the end result of this most fortunate situation is that I am really comfortable when talking with the doctor on any subject regarding my health. This is essential when diagnosing the areas in which I need assistance with.

Yikes! What a nightmare my experience turned out to be! I left a positive review before, but after today I couldn’t revoke that enough! I make kidney stones like it’s a full time job, if you are reading this and possess this god forsaken illness save what little dignity you have and run from her! Unfortunately for me I’ve been battling a monster stone since September, a flare up happened on my way to the appointment. DO Not show this doctor weakness as you will be treated like a piece of trash!
