Dr Shannon has been looking after my daughter going through lengthening and various surgeries over last two years.She is exceptionally great what she does as a doctor. She always makes time to listen your concerns if not always takes time to reply your emails to put your mind in peace. She is such a knowledgeable and experience doctor with a down to earth attitude. She is always ready for all of your questions and so patient go through them until you fully understand them.She is such a patient and caring person. She is beautiful inside and out. You would always feel safe under her care. She is so compassionate towards her patient and passionate about her job too. We are so blessed to have her as our doctor.

Dr Shannon has cared for our child 6 year. She never fails to listen to our concerns and fears. She provides detailed information that helps us understand what needs to be addressed. She treats us with respect and compassion. Her skills are world class, as are the team with her. Thank you Dr Shannon for all you have done to help our son

Dr. Shannon is very personable and takes the time to answer questions and explain everything in an easy to understand manner. She was our second opinion and came recommended from other parents in a Perthes support group. We travel several hours to see her and my daughter is doing well!

Our son just had surgery today and while things did not go the smoothest (not Dr. Shannon’s fault) she was so caring and understanding! We never feel rushed when talking with her, and trust me, we ask A LOT of questions! We are thankful for her technical expertise and her outstanding bedside manner!

We have been working with Dr. Shannon for the past few years for my daughter's congenital femoral deficiency condition. We travel from Ohio to see her in Florida at the Paley Institute and feel very comfortable and in the best hands with her. She is personable, caring, extremely knowledgeable and experienced with these unique conditions. We just completed limb lengthening with an external fixator over the past 3 months and saw her almost weekly as we progressed and navigated the lengthening. We are so thankful for her dedication to this specific field as we navigate the long term goal of getting both of my daughter's feet on the ground!

We met Dr. Shannon once but left her office with good impressions. She is very attentive and knowledgeable and excellent in handling kids.

We met for the first time yesterday in the clinic due to some changes in appointments, but the doctor welcomed the patient and did not refuse the case and give the patient the appointment and provide the required treatment in her field of work in his time and transfer to a second doctor. Our daughter had a Hard Removal Bilateral Femurs with Dr. Shannon. It was a small surgery but everything happened as planned. She was very careful and attentive with us.

Dr. Shannon is awesome. She is a highly skilled surgeon with an awesome down-to-earth bedside manner. She talks to you not at you allowing you to ask questions without interrupting and answers them so that you understand. You will not be disappointed. The Paley Institute is a great place with awesome doctors and staff.

Bittersweet! I am thankful for Dr. Shannon and all the medical care provided by her and her team. I’m happy our 3 year journey has come to a successful end, I’m saddened that I will not see them because I always felt a sense of hope after my visits with Dr. Shannon. She’s great, the best one in South Florida, correct others surgeons ‘s mistakes, i had a surgery about two years ago with one of her colleague and right after surgery my ankle was bleeding for 3 months and give me only medication for it , for many times I told him to take MRI but didn’t listen to me until I got infected because he forgot a screw inside and was not in the correct position and did not fix the rest of deformities .i had a severe pain for two years he was telling me everything is normal in X-ray. I spent a lot of money with no benefits. Finally DR Shanonn realized and knew what my problem is ,did a successful and wonderful surgery for me and everything is going well. I recommend her for everyone who has a complicated case to do a surgery with her. Thank you Dr shanonn for saving my life.
