Dr Shields has left the building, but he leaves behind a huge followers that dearly love him. We commend & Honor you Dr C Shields for all your wonderful work & diligence in making sure your patients are in good hands. Thank you for taking such good care of my crazy knees since 2008. And although i know you shared your exquisite knowledge with New fellow physicians...Kerlan & Jobe will never be the same without your charm, smile & gentle voice. Dr Shields has performed surgery on my knee about 25-30 years ago. I'd seen him since then, but am potentially facing additional surgeries. He's one of the kindest doctors I've ever met.

I have seen many Doctors in my lifetime. Dr. Shields is an excellent Doctor - from the care he provided to his bedside manner; listening to me and my experience and addressing each issue.

Ive been going to Dr Shields since 2008, he was refrd to me by a Laker player & friend... Dr Shields is a Excellent Dr . Very knowledged, explains every detail of the issue. & what is needed for rehabilitation, the staff is friendly & a clean facility. I always feel at ease knowing he's got me covered..ive sent 4 of my friends to him ..he's soo delightful & a good vibe ..

In 1979 I was in a motorcycle accident. The ligaments in my knee weren’t just torn but shattered. The recommendation was to have my knee fused, but I was only 21. They said if I did not have it fused I may not be able to walk or deal with the pain but I took my chances and had it operated on. Dr. Shields was the the surgeon and as I recall there had to be approximately 15 interns watching this surgery. There were definitely some rough times post surgery but not because of Dr. Shields work. It is now 43 years later and I am still walking and working as a plumber. I have had my other knee replaced but the one Dr. Shields worked on is still functioning. I had the procedure done at USC Medical Center and want to thank Dr. shields for everything he did and hopefully some interns learned a lot from that surgery. Thank you Sincerely Randall Blankenship

Dr. Shields has been my doctor for over 20 years. He takes the time to get to know his patients and really listens. He is by far the best doctor I have ever come into contact with. He is innovative and works hard to find the best possible solution to fix the problem. Couldn't ask for a better person or doctor to have in my corner.
