I had just a terrible experience with this provider. He neither payed any attention, nor cared, tried very hard to end the visit ASAP, offered tests without necessity. I literally dictated him what he should do. When in the end of the visit I asked him about UroLift procedure, he said that doesn't not perform it and recommended a wrong doctor. But my main complaint that when I tried to get in touch with him for urgent very confidential test, his office staff manipulated me, he never called me despite multiple requests, I was forced to disclose my private information to the staff and in the end he ordered not completed test. Complained to NYU Langone patient relations, but they ignored. Never come close...

spend your copay someplace else. dr wolgel spends more time trying to figure out how to use his computer than discussing your health with you. refused to discuss urinalysis results related to my kidney stone, which was why i was referred to him in the first place. youre a UROLOGIST. you’re more than qualified to discuss a urinalysis. youre just lazy.

He changes offices very frequently and there is usually quite a wait time. This time I went to the office for an appointment scheduled some months back only to find a notice on the door saying that he was no longer there. With difficulty I got through to the new location and canceled my appointment. I was quite upset that the office staff had not informed me that he had moved, particularly since I had an issue I wanted to present to him. I will cut my cord with him today.

Not acceptable. Did procedure wrong and left a huge deformity. When asked to fix it he said it could create a problem and create scar tissue that would make area without sensation. Do not recommend, stay away.
