Rude, disrespectful and poorly informed
I took my 5 day old son for his first doctor appt. We waited in a VERY crowded waiting room for nearly 2 hours. So when we were finally taken back my son was hungry and getting fussy, I also had to use the bathroom so I walked out of the room for a minute. Dr. Herrera came in while I was gone and was very dismissive to my husband and kept asking where the 'mom' was. When I returned she told me my son was 'STARVING', I explained we had been waiting a long time and it was hard to get him to latch here (newly breastfeeding, first time mom). She again obnoxiously stated that my son was STARVING 3 more times during our appointment. Mind you, he was only 2 ounces less than his birth weight, at 5 days old. Just overall rude, I explained I was exclusively breastfeeding and she said 'You need to know how many ounces he is getting'. Very unsupportive to breastfeeding moms. AVOID this doctor at all costs.

Rude and Condescending
I just spoke with Dr. Herrera regarding my sons health matter. I’ve never had a more rude experience from a DR. Dr. Herrera, please don’t let my non medically trained ex-wife speak for you. Thanks

Very rude, expects you to know what your child has. Instead of informing you. Not very kind I had to see her because my doctor wasnt avaliable and I was not satisfied at all. I went for a sick visit.

I had an appointment with this doctor scheduled for Saturday on September 3rd. My appointment was scheduled for 12:30. I arrived early and found there was another patients waiting as well who had an 11 am appointment. The doctor called sometime later saying she wasn't going to make it. And cancelled around 1. I'd driven an hour to see her and she left the other patient waiting for over 2 hours. Very unprofessional.
