Lacking Compassion
I saw Dr. D twice for right upper abdomen pain with suspected gallbladder issues. I have been battling this pain for more than 16 months. Since my labs/imaging appear to be clear, Dr. De paralta single handedly decided I have IBS (this has never been a diagnosis of mine), and couldn't be having gallbladder problems. I've been seeing a GI regularly since 2021 and Dr. D said because I missed one GI appointment (and was unable to reschedule) that he couldn't help me. He charted indicating that I was upset because I was told I missed an appointment and a phone call. I'm upset because he is lacking compassion and told me "I can't help you, you said you didn't have issues with chicken and fish, so stick to that." He told me the answer is "it's not your gallbladder, sorry." I am in pain and he didn't care to offer an ounce of compassion so if you are looking for a compassionate physician, look elsewhere.

Doc. D. Did the surgery to remove the lower lob of my right lung, due to cancer. I am cancer free today. He is a fantastic surgeon , and person. I would recimmend him 100% ! I owe my health and life to him. .

I went to Deperalta for masses in my arm with nerve pain. I left with live with it and don't worry about cancer you have a better chance of winning the lottery. I left feeling like my life didn't matter at all. He did say I could get a second opinion which I am doing. I don't know if its due to my insurance he dismissed me or what. But will never want anyone I care about going to him. I mean someone does end up winning the lottery. I will ask my doctor why she sent me to him.
