Requesting unwanted surgery
I went not cosmetic but medical breast reduction and lift, seen the nurse and insurance approved, I was scheduled for surgery after that. Out of town patient I drive only to get there he never looked at any of my information, I was ask what did I need done. He stated I needed to have a weight loss surgery and the next year tummy tuck the finally breast reduction. One medical reason and you want to come up with three procedures! I experienced rudeness from the Dr the entire staff, he did not listen to my medical needs. Not every woman is unhappy with her body! I love myself and large breast is one thing I need reduce. Best decision was driving away I will no be pressured by a doctor just to please his ego. Have a wonderful doctor now that understands medical necessities.

Dr Frenzel did my gastric sleeve back in 2019, my tummy tuck in 2021 and I will be going back for another surgery soon! I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. My scars are practically gone. He did such a good job on my last two surgeries. I would not use another doctor to do my surgeries.

More bad service from lack of caring
I could only speak to my personal experience. At this moment I have to said that as medicine is concern, well not very happy I when in for a consult on a bariatric revision. After the check he spend about 2 minutes telling me i have an ulcer to go talk to go get a consult done to get on a diet I follow instructions like they asked. Took every medicine paid every bill I was asked to pay with the hope of moving forward with a revision. After about 4 to 5 month. I notice that the dr. Clayton have been sending double billing on my visits. I called to get this situation resolved and the extra money that I had paid refunded to me. this started on December the 4th. Spoke to a few people at his office who were extremely rude and fail to resolved the situation. I finally spoke to Cristy Barnes HIs office manager. She was a bit combatant at the beginning but finally agree that the money should be refunded she then told me a story about how the only one that could approve refunds is Dr.

I had my initial appointment set. I called the day before to make sure they were in-network with my insurance company. The insurance lady stated that all afternoon appointments for the week were cancelled. I had not been contacted and it is a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. She rescheduled for a phone appointment before noon the following day. I waited and never recievd a call from Dr. Frenzel or anyone else in the office to say it had been cancelled. I am QUITE CONFIDENT that I DO NOT want such an unorganized group to be operating on me. I never got to meet the Dr. and can tell that this is NOT the place for me. If

Dr.Frenzel and his staff have been really helpful and professional I've had 3 surgeries done by him and the results were great. He's not a miracle worker you have to put in some effort too to make your surgery successful you know.

Dr. Frenzel and his staff are excellent. I have had gastric sleeve surgery with him and had wonderful results. I was very nervous about having such a life changing surgery. They walked me through every bit of the process and explained my surgery in detail. Dr. Frenzel and his staff provided me with plenty of pre-surgery information. From pre-operative diet to vitamins and protein choices as well as a booklet that explained my post-operative care and eating guidelines. My pain post-surgery was manageable. It just felt as though I had done a whole lot of ab work at the gym. His staff was excellent. They called me a few days after surgery and again about a month after surgery to see how I was doing and if I had any additional questions. I would highly recommend him to everyone. He is one of the best Bariatric doctors in the DFW area. Thank you to Dr. Frenzel and his staff for helping me to get my life on a healthy track!

This was the most horrible experience I've had with a doctors office in TX. His staff, unfortunately, is very unprofessional and rude. I tried to tell the doctor but If I have seen him more than 5 minutes is a lot. Since day one they made a mess with my first appointment. From cancelling and rescheduling it in a different location as promised. The procedure was messy and the staff was again very rude. no post instructions and the doctor left me a scar that is horrible. After 4 months I still haven't been able to go fix it as promised because they are not answering messages and calls.

I started my experience with Dr. Frenzel for a lapband removal procedure. Because of the expectation of needing to do a revision and go from lapband to sleeve the process of getting getting insurance to cover the procedure took about 3 months. Dr. Frenzel's office was amazing and managed to get the 2 procedures (removal and sleeve) covered 100%. I was about to give up when the office called and said that the procedures would be covered and we could schedule. I have had nothing but excellent customer service and care from everyone in the office and clinics. My results have been amazing (almost 60 pounds) lost in 1 year. My BMI has dropped to 23 which, according to Henry, is great and pretty impressive. Considering going back and possibly having the girls lifted in the future. I highly recommend BodEvolve Bariatric & Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Frenzel's attention to all small details and his bedside manner are exceptional.

I got a breast reduction with Dr Clayton Frenzel on August 26,2019 and it was the best decision of my life. I was a 38DDD and now I’m a small B. My new boobs are beautiful and the perfect size. With his amazing technique he gave me the perfect perky look. It looks like I have small implants when I really don’t. The after care nurses was very sweet and attentive. They made sure I wasn’t in horrible pain before releasing me to go home. I went back 3 weeks later for my top/lower abdomen liposuction procedure. The results so far are great. My stomach is so flat and I feel like a new person!!! Dr Frenzel and his staff are amazing. I highly recommended this surgeon!

I has bariatric from Dr Frentzel. After surgery he did not come explain how things went, nor came and checked on me. I asked 2 nurses how things went, they stated the Dr would inform me. I have yet to see or hear from him 11 days out. And as far as his PA goes, stay away,he is the rudest non compassionate indivdual in the medical field I have ever met. This low life laughed at me when I called the office with some concerns I was having after surgery. He spoke to me as if I was disturbing him. I will not be going to that office for my post op apt.

Having breast augmentation is a super scary thing especially when there are so many doctors out there offering this service. I could not be happier with my results. He talked to me about size and what would look best on my body. My breast look so natural people would never know I had surgery. He didn’t go do big that it would cause damage to my skin tissue. Start to finish I loved everything about my journey. His staff is amazing. Always smiling and nice. Thank you guys for making this so great

I had sleeve April 2007, all went well and I have lost 85 lbs. I was told they were about to get insurance approved and I would pay $4000 for surgery. Now over a year later I got a bill for $50,000!!! I have called and spoke with someone who said they would probably have to resubmit my claim but would let me know for sure. However never received any info back. Now I get another bill for $35,000 and have tried emailing the coordinator but she will not email me back. I would not recommend!!

After care was terrible. Dr Frenzel comes in the exam room, obviously not taking tome to read the chart, can’t remeber which surgery he performed and asks me every time. It got to be such a joke I would write all kinds of weird stuff on the pre appointment questionnaire and he never once read it or asked a question about what I wrote. He never sent me for post operative blood work. When my primary care found out, she had a fit, sent me for bloodwork and found out I had a vitamin deficiency

I've had ten pelvic surgeries in 20 yrs; not "painless" but not unbearable. I chose Dr. Frenzel for the G. Sleeve b/c he is also a cosmetic surgeon. The appropriate word I can use is "traumatic!" Instead of taking 15 minutes to close the incision borders he "filled" them with surgical glue; large scars resulted. The pain was unbearable. Since the hospital would not contact him I considered calling an ambulance to come get me and take me to another hospital. I would never use him again.

I had gastric sleeve performed in March of this year and am down 116 pounds. I felt VERY educated about the process prior to surgery, well cared for both pre and post op and during all my post operative appointments. Surgery is not a fix it all, it is a tool to be added to be successful, and this is something that Henry, the NP, communicated to me from the start. I’ve had a wonderful experience and look forward to my continued success.

I had my surgery December 12, 2017. When I went for my appointment for surgery I was told my insurance was out of network and not to worry. I was told I had to pay $400 out of pocket for surgery and that was it. I am now receiving a bill for $6000 for surgery. I called the billing department to explain why I was misinformed and she couldn't. I am receiving medical bills weekly. The outcome was great but not worth the unexpected medical bills.

I just had my gastric sleeve surgery yesterday the 28th of March. I read through all the materials given to me and I felt confident that if I needed extra support I would receive it no problem. Well, I was wrong. As the night went on my pain got significantly worse and the prescribed medication didn't even take the edge off. After calling the office I was told that it was against the law for them to prescribe me anything else and I should just go to the ER. Please find yourself another doctor.

I would not recommend this practice. I had gastric sleeve surgery in 2016. I flew in from the east coast to have this done, so I needed to stay in a hotel until my post-op visit. I met Dr F. Right before the surgery took place and never saw or heard from him again. While in the hotel I was called by a nurse and I explained I was having trouble staying awake and was intense pain. She said someone would call but that was the last I heard. The office for the post op visit was filthy/unsanitary
