Dr. Clint Basener, DO

Had a complicated pectoral tear that another well established and highly respected orthopedic surgeon said could not be fixed. Dr. Basener fixed it. He’s the best at what he does.

I had a terrible experience with this Dr. He had no clue how to treat a complicated knee injury (multiple previous surgeries), but he wouldn't say so. He didn't touch my knee, charged me $200, and kept recommending PT and for me to come back again to charge me another $200 for literally nothing. He also had no idea about arthrofibrosis or how to treat it, and if you have it, and go to a doctor who 'doesn't believe in that' or thinks it's just some scar tissue, you're going to be screwed. It was clear he had no idea what to do, but was also disinterested in learning, trying, or referring to a surgeon who could handle a complicated case. I have no confidence in this doctor, I mean, maybe if you're a first-time repair. But DO NOT go if you have some more complex issue, a second repair, etc. He didn't recommend an MUA when there was still time to do one, and set me back six months in my recovery. I found a specialist in Colorado who saved my knee. This guy is not the guy to do so.

He is kind, explains well and provides quality patient care.

Dr B gave me choices on my treatment and pros vs cons of each. I did what was best for me and I am very pleased with my outcome.

I’ve been a patient of Dr B’s for years now, and basically he’s having to put me back together, piece by piece and he never has given up on me. He’s the only doctor I will let give me shots in my knees. He has replaced one knee and getting ready for a second. He never gives up on you and sees you thru to the very end and truly cares about his patients and the work he does. No one better!

Dr. Basener is one of the best orthopedic surgery I've met. His bedside manner could be improved upon however I feel his competencies and end results far outweigh anything else? Yes, I would and have recommended him.

Yes I highly recommend Dr. Basener! A brilliant surgeon! Kind, compassionate and caring! I’ve had total reverse shoulder replacement and total knee replacement! Quite happy with the results of both! Planning on getting the other knee replaced as well as other shoulder replaced soon! Dr. Basener is the absolute best surgeon!

Excellent doctor, he took care of my mom (total knee replacement). We were very pleased with outcome and the care he provided. She is going back to get the other knee done.

Was very professional I could tell he was a very well-trained individual, he knew exactly what to do and how to help me The surgery was hard because of my difficult situation I brought to him but yet he was flawless. He was very informative. I believe it is important to learn as much about your situation so you can ask intelligent questions.

Very short and dismissive. Barely took the time to examine me or listen. Was not caring whatsoever ever. I do not recommend this guy in the slightest!

I went to see Dr. Basener a couple days ago to see what the issue was with my shoulder pain. I was impressed with him from the very start! He came in, introduced himself and acknowledged my husband in the room also! This is very rare for doctors to do nowadays… I have taken my parents to several doctors in Tulsa and they rarely introduce themselves and even though I am sitting in the room with them, they never even acknowledge me. I am Looking forward to working with Dr Basener!

He was patient, honest and understanding. Explained everything in terms that were easy to grasp. He listened to my concerns and addressed them.

My husband and I both had Dr. BASENER and he was oustanding!! WE never waited in the office visits and both our surgeries was successful! ! Highly recommend him!!!!

I selected Dr. Basener because I felt his sports medicine expertise would provide superior results for my hip replacement. I previously had a hip pinning by a well known Orthopedic surgeon. The bone did not survive the fracture and I felt like I needed a different doctor. I had a full hip replacement about 3 months ago. I am free of pain!! Dr. Basener was able to adjust my leg length so I don't have to wear a wedge in my shoe. I am very pleased with my results & would highly recommend him!

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. BASENER. HE IS VERY PRECISE AND LISTENS AND CARES FOR YOUR NEEDS. I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND THEY TOLD ME MY ANKLE WAS SPRAINED....WHEN I WENT TO DR. BASENER HE TOOK THE TIME TO EXAMINE IT AND FOUND OUT IT WAS NOT SPRAINED IT WAS ACTUALLY A SMALL FRACTURE IN MY FOOT. HE FOLLOWS UP WITH ME AND IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL HE ALWAYS ANSWERS THEM. Dr. Basener at Invictus was very knowledgeable and kind. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I was able to get in the same day I broke my leg. The office staff was very kind and courteous and I would highly recommend this doctor and facility to any and all of my family and friends. 100% satisfied!!!!!!

Dr. Basener was very professional in explaining my hip problem. He made me very comfortable about the treatment available. If you need a doctor that will "take the time" this is the doctor.

Not good, still in pain he can't figure out what is wrong. Waste of time effort would recommend not seeing him.
