poor patient health care
Comments to refer to extremely poor health care. Do not trust him. Should be held accountable for lack of treatment in a case of advanced cancer. The practice has dropped the ball and let the cancer go un treated.

I have been going to Dr Albert for over 20 years. I had a severe GI bleed and he was one of the attending doctors. His bedside manner is exceptional and he has been consistently throughout the years.I am very pleased with his care and treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a physician with the knowledge, expertise and skills he possesses.

I was a patent of Dr. Albert for close to 20 years. He has always been a bit harsh, but that didn't matter if my health was in good hands. I have a history of precancerous colon polyps and acid reflux. After two recent endoscopy procedures (2019 and May 2021), I was told that my increasing reflux (vomiting of bile and acid burning my esophagus) was caused from weight gain. I was told to lose weight and that would solve the problem. Yes, I gained the COVID 20. I found a new doctor who informed me that I had a hiatal hernias (which I wasn't even aware of) and immediate surgery would help resolve the issue; in addition to losing a few lbs. I also have an autoimmune disease which contributes to muscle weakness and could contribute to the hernia, but this was never brought up by Dr. Albert. Finally, Dr. Albert did not even tell me that my 2019 colonoscopy resulted in 3 pre-cancerous polyps - I learned this from my new doctor! Dr. A needs to consult colleagues and look at the bigger picture!

Recently had a colonoscopy and endoscopy with Dr Albert. Can't say much about him because he only took about 2 minutes to speak with me prior to my procedures before I was knocked out with anesthesia. HOWEVER, I have had diarrhea now for 8 days AFTER my procedure and can get NO answers or care from him. His staff girl FELICIA is a rude rotten witch that needs to be fired. No sympathy and absolutely NO concern for my condition whatsoever! I explained what was going on with her and said I would have to go to the hospital for care - since they were not concerned. She flippantly said, "Well if that's what you have to do, then just go to the hospital" A total of 9 days of crapping my gutts out and NO ONE in that office has any decency to address the issue. They are glad to take my money though!!! Disgraceful! Shame on you and your crappy manner Felicia and shame on you doctor for allowing her to work in your office and showing no concern for my condition that apparently YOU caused!

I just cancelled an endoscopy/colonoscopy with Dr. Albert. I cannot rate Dr. Albert as I never got to see him or personally talk to him. I was seen by an NP in the office (very nice, asked all the right questions and gave appropriate answers to my questions). After a barium swallow to view esophagus, I requested a call from Dr. Albert to discuss questions (that was over 3 weeks ago). Initially when I asked to talk to Dr. Albert, his gatekeeper told me I could ask him when he came around to see me the morning of the procedure. I am in the medical field and know that this would create problems for the OR staff, etc. and requested a call from Dr. Albert. Over 3 weeks later and still no call. Also, the office called in the PREP kit to the wrong pharmacy even though it was discussed at the office visit. When I called to cancel the procedure and why, I was told Dr. Albert is very busy, adding extra cases, etc. This did nothing to boost my confidence that I as a patent really mattered.

Dr. Albert and his team are very considerate and friendly. Wendy always makes me feel so welcome! Dr. Albert himself is very knowledgeable and makes you feel like you are his only patient. The front office professionals are very friendly and I never have to wait long. I highly recommend Dr. Albert.

Very long wait time in office & after getting into room. He & his office is very Rude when it comes to any one else's time. Had scheduled EGD/colonoscopy for 11:30AM. The dr finally got into the room at 1:30pm. No apologies, no acknowledgment of him being 2hrs late. (i checked w/ staff & he had no excuse, just slow). no consideration for my time or my drivers time. I will NOT be back to see him.

Dr. Albert should consider getting a new office manager and new nursing staff. He himself is a decent practitioner with okay bed-side manner, but his staff is HORRIBLE. They are rude and condescending, especially Wendy. And whomever his gatekeeper is he should let go. Humans, patients, should be treated with respect and care. None of the women that answer the phone know how to do that. I would NOT recommend this practice until he gets an entire new staff and team. PERIOD! Trust me!!!

My experience with Dr. Albert was wonderful. He takes a considerable amount of time to go over all of the specifics with the patient and makes sure they understand. Very pleased with his experience and kindness. On the other hand. I am very upset with his staff (front desk only), not the nurse. I've waited 6 wks to get results on an MRI that was performed on 11/09/2015. I've called a total of three times and both Wendy and Ashley have been short and very rude.
