Dr. Clotilde Hainline, MD

Dr. Hainline is an incredible doctor. I got into see her quickly after a new diagnosis of MS and she put me at ease. Dr. Hainline's bedside manner is incredibly reassuring and kind. She took the time to listen to all of my concerns and fears. Her knowledge of MS is incredibly thorough and she explained my symptoms and showed me the corresponding lesions on the MRI. Dr. Hainline made me feel hopeful that I can beat MS and I am on a very effective treatment now thanks to her expertise. She has awesome staff and the clinic is beautiful and clean with convenient parking. I feel so lucky to have Dr. Hainline as my MS doctor in New Mexico.

Horrible experience. Took 3 years to get in to see her as her team kept “losing” my referral. First visit was okay as she was just gathering medical records with the exception that she was upset that I had an out of state MS specialist due to the 3 years trying to get in. She told me I had to choose. After the visit where she promised no further issues with her team, I had a relapse and when we contacted her it took 2 weeks to get a response from her team not even her. Then the issue worsened and again no response for weeks and never from her. Did finally get an appointment booked a couple of months later and she walked into the appointment and stated “what do you want me to do” without doing any test offering tests and then focused on my headaches and wanted to get me a headache specialist when the problem was me not being able to see.

I have tried to contact her at different times about different things I have been going through. I will give her a list of things that my body has been doing, things I have never experienced before. When I'm done with sharing, she looks at me and says 'well what about MS symptoms?'It's very frustrating trying to understand why and what my body is doing, and to not have her validate or be empathetic in any way towards my situation, she's cold and distant. I do not recommend her & Her staff has been more accommodating. I'm just disappointed that it took so long to get into this clinic, to find out the doctor is not very professional. She does not explain things, she borderline makes you feel stupid, like we are wasting her time! My spouse was disappointed as well, and gave me the courage to put this out and to look for a new doctor.

Dr. Hainline is a smart and kind. I am in a clinical trial thanks to her.

Dr. Hainline is very kind, caring, and knowledgeable. At my appointments she is very thorough and you can tell she cares about your overall health. She goes above and beyond to do everything she can to help you. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Hainline always takes the time to listen to my concerns and offers helpful solutions. She knows her stuff! I have had several doctors for my condition and she has been the most thorough by far!!

Dr. Hainline was very dismissive and appointments with her were frustrating. She was very eager to declare that other doctors had done their jobs incorrectly, and during one very uncomfortable appointment she attempted to to disregard the diagnostic protocol for my disease based on her personal opinion. I left her care as soon as a viable alternative presented itself.
