Dr. Coby Richeson, MD

I chose this doctor as my primary care physician almost 2 years ago and it was the best decision I made. Sometimes you have to wait a little after your given appointment time but that’s because he spends equally amount of time with his patients and is talking to them for as long as they need him. Some patients have more questions than others and so sometimes it runs a little over. I don’t mind this though because he does the same thing when I’m in the room with him. He was absolutely amazing with getting me to see the specialists that I needed and he follows up on my care. I don’t know who the doctor might’ve been several years ago before Covid or during Covid but I know him now and I know him to be an amazing doctor. Choosing him as your primary is a wonderful idea. You won’t regret it.

Save yourself the time and frustration by going to a different doctor. He is the worst physician I’ve ever been to. I’ve been at this practice for over 10 years and he isn’t my regular doctor but I saw him because no one else was available. His bedside manner is horrible and his competence is questionable for pretty common issues. I’ve had a much more difficult road with a recent serious illness trying to wait for him to figure out what to do. He doesn’t share what he’s thinking and is too hesitant to prescribe medicine (antibiotics) when it’s clearly needed. He avoids calling patients when it’s warranted and hands it off to office staff that can’t help, except to repeat exactly what the doctor has told them. They can answer other related questions so the waiting game and frustration continues. This practice used to be good but doctors like Richeson are dragging them down. I won’t be going back.

Dr Richeson takes time to listen. He makes me feel as if he really cares about me personally. He lets me know when I need to make healthy changes and congratulated me when I improve.

Doctor has decided to take a leave. Was told by scheduling is has been a 'few months'. No one has an idea when he will return. Patients for 10 years was never notified.

Poor bedside manner. Always rushed and I do not feel he gives proper time to patients. Always late for appointments, but don't be late, they will get on you. I don't think he truly cares about patients, he just seems to be going through the motions. I hate it when a doctor loses his passion. He do not pay attention to you and he smiles and tells you that you are wrong, because he is the doctor

Seems like a good Dr. but have seen him 3 or 4 times and each time had to wait well past appointment time to be seen. It is very disrespectful to continue to book patients when he obviously cannot see them in a timely fashion. Please cut back by 1 patient per day and be considerate to others as our time is important as well.
