Life saver
At the beginning of the year I had a procedure at NKC Hospital that did not go as planned and I ended up requiring surgery. I didn’t have the opportunity to choose my own doctor when Dr Elder stepped in to help. Dr Elder is a thoracic surgeon at NKC Hospital. Dr Elder was great. He explained everything and took the time to listen to my concerns. After the first surgery, I felt great. He did an exceptional job. Care after the surgery was good. Dr Elder telephoned me personally and related another surgery was recommended since I had lung cancer. Dr Elder performed a second surgery to remove a larger part of my lung and surrounding lymph nodes. The second surgery was extremely painful since having another operation just six weeks after the first and the second surgery was basically the same as the first but more in-depth. Dr Elder again was amazing. He addressed my concerns and removed all the cancer the first surgery. Overall I was very impressed with Dr Elder.
