Zero stars
? ? ? ? ? There wasn’t a zero stars option so I made one. I visited the ER on Friday, Feb 9th because I was having chest pain, palpitations, and shortness of breath that came and went with the pain I was experiencing. I called the ER prior to going in because I know the ERs main purpose is to make sure patients aren’t dying. I was told that I could still go to receive care. I don’t start care with my Rheum until Feb 23rd, and I thought the Urgent Care wouldn’t be able to test for what would be going on with my heart. When Dr Ann Coleen Rickabaugh came in she was speaking very fast and somewhat dismissive but I thought whatever, maybe she had a coffee or 5. She asks me about what’s going on and j explained the chest pain and symptoms I’ve been experiencing. I spoke calmly and very neutral although I was uncomfortable with how I was feeling. I made the mistake of being fully honest with her as my Dr and letting her know j have Fibromyalgia. That could be why she became even more di

If leaving no star in the rating was possible, that's what I would give her. Zero bedside manner and addressed my illness in a cold and uncaring manner. I couldn't wait to get away from her.

Worst physician I've ever seen. Does not want to help patients. Doesnt listen. Interrupts with rude comments. Avoid at all costs. Should not be working with people

I would never recommend this worthless doctor. She is rude, argumentative, and just plain nasty. If you go to the hospital and she’s the one on call, promptly move on to another hospital. I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life. I came in with pain and left with that same pain and some extra tears because she accused me of wanting to miss work, and when that didn’t work she accused me of just wanting pain meds. Awful, awful treatment. She doesn’t deserve the title of doctor. Disgusting.

Went to the ER with severe pain in my abdomen. After arriving by ambulance, at one point she stated out loud "Well, she's probably lying. Patients lie all the time". She also YELLED questions back at me when I was in too much pain to answer her within half a second. Rolled her eyes at many of my responses and "give me a minute before moving me please, I am in too much pain" requests. Extremely rough while examining my abdomen, considering there was unknown internal pain. Worst doctor ever.

Wow! Reading these reviews just shows that my experience wasn't unique at all. I went in with severe abdominal pain and she treated me as a burden. I'd been in to the ER the night before and was told if the pain continued or worsened to come back in. So, I did and she acted as though I was a drug addict seeking pain pills. I wasn't at all and instead just wanted some solution to my problem, no matter what that was. I left in tears with no help. I wrote into the hospital with complaint!

She is not even worthy for any star rating. If there was negative stars I would rate her as a negative five.

coleen called a doctor? Bull manure!!! She should be called coleen rickabough, PTS (Patient Torturer Specialist), because she is NO doctor! She should be brought up on malpractice charges. I would give her -10 stars. Before going to the ER, ask for her. If she's on duty, go to another ER, PPPPPPLEASE! If you are in pain, even if you have a limb missing or half your guts are spilling out, you will get NO pain meds from her! I implore you to go to Spotsy Medical Center ER!

Went to the ER with severe, debilitating chest pain from Lupus complications. She accused me of being a narcotic seeker and forced me to leave with a security escort, simply on the evidence that I'd been to the ER many times in the last two months. What that should tell her is that my chronic illness is poorly controlled because I was just diagnosed. I wasn't even prescribed narcotics. Not once. If she had bothered to ask me, I could have told her. Instead, I was treated like a criminal.

Emergency room treatment. Was in severe pain. Dr. Richabaugh was hurried and was not listening. Said was just typical menstrual pain, patient should just be use to it. What a thing for a doctor to say to a patient in pain!! No results about what is causing severe pain. Not typical pain. Was given pain medication, but still in terrible pain with no idea what the problem truly is caused by. Definitely not impressed with Dr. Richabaugh, and not very happy with Mary Washington.

We went with our 7mo old baby to the ER at Mary Washington Hospital, she checked our son and besides having a rushy attitud (her notes on the medical record show she did not pay attention to what i mention about symptoms) she made this mistakes: 1. Said our son was not dehydrated, even after seeing his blood test results (our pediatrician saw the lab tests which showed he needed IV right away, she never gave him an IV, despite we told her our concern) 2. Prescribed WRONG antibiotic!
