Something different
This doctor,my mom recommended to me, I've tried him before but I stopped to my drug addiction I visited him prior to help HEP C. But bailed. I've came back years later clean sober and he was welcoming I felt at ease with this man all the negative comments I'm reading don't even sound close to this doctors character. They just are either very very sensitive people or they are use to getting their way. He let's you call him at home to ask qustions. He wants to do what is best for you, all you have to is open up ask questions, explain why you believe certain things will benefit you and which won't. He's a good doctor, great man I recommended at the highest

A good doctor
Dr. Okolie has always taken ample time to listen to my concerns. He has always been kind and considerate. I very much respect that he is not a pill pusher. His office and staff have always been nice. They’re all busy and doing the best job they can with what everyone has been dealing with. They’ve always tried to get me in promptly . I have recommended him to several people, including my adult children. I think he was a good choice for my medical needs .

Horrible service from this Doctor
I recently moved to Ohio and needed to find a new doctor. I was given this doctor by my insurance provider. I have been seeing the same doctor in Texas for 22 years. He was a very good doctor. I come to see this doctor and he chose not to fill the prescriptions I have been taking for the past 15 years. He changed my meds and qty of some of my meds. My sleep pattern has been a mess for years, but my previous doctor had it managed. I come see this doctor and now my sleep is horrible. I called and asked for a refill explaining I had one pill left. After over a week he finally gave me a refill. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He seems like a nice person, but his responsiveness to his patients is severely lacking. Changing doctors after only one visit. Today his office called me and left a message to call back. After 15 min on hold all they wanted was to tell me since I am changing doctors that they are cancelling my next appt. Horrible. Send an email or text.

Dr. Okolie and mine and everyone in my families PCP. He is caring, attentive, and a great listener. I seem to be always laughing in his office and leave the visits feeling much better than when I came in. My mom and I both have autoimmune diseases and mental health problems and he has always treated us with the utmost care. He orders many tests and imaging if needed to ensure nothing goes untreated. I would recommend Dr. Okolie to anyone needing a new PCP.

I would very highly recommend Dr.Okolie to anyone needing a physician. In fact I already have many times. He is very attentive and listens to all our health concerns. He has always been very kind and knowledgeable regarding all our concerns. He is the best Dr. we’ve had in a long time. He makes himself very understandible. 5 plus stars for Dr. Collins Okolie.

I don't know if he was in a bad mood or what. I was an RN for 44 years and NEVER heard a physician verbally abuse a patient the way this man did to me. He mocked me, he threatened me with no health care here locally, he impugned my character and called me a liar. Because I made a joke about EKGs and asked him about a lab usually done by functional medicine specialist. He blacklisted me in the clinic and now I must travel an hour to see a rheumatologist. I would advise anyone, do not see this man without a witness present.

He was very rude and condescending, which had me in tears. He told me to go cry to another doctor. So, hindsight and all, I have noticed a pattern with him. If he treats you and your issue continues, he gets very offended when you return for additional treatment. I was in tears for the entire visit and he kept berating me because I had previously went to see a specialist for my knee problem. After 12 years of him being my PCP, time to get a new doctor.

My family Doctor recently passed and I have been looking for a new provide..I randomly chose Doctor Okolie. After my first appointment I knew I had made a wise choice...He has great listening skills and is unlike most physicians who are out of the exam room in five minutes...His diagnostic skills are very sharp....Unlike most providers he ordered some fundamental testing and was in touch with me upon the results. I’m not much for painting roses pictures where the don’t exist.Hes the real deal!
