Dr. Constantine Raphtis, DO

This man showed up when my ob didn't and saved my child's life. 21 years later he is still my Dr. He is kind, knows what he is talking about, is easy to talk to, makes me feel comfortable, delivered my second child by c-section also and was just as wonderful, and I plan to take my daughter, whom he delivered, to him. I can't stand arrogant Dr.s and he is down to earth. What is most important to me is that HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. I refer my clients to him and I've had no neg responses. I feel I can tell him anything, even the difficult stuff. He looks out for the whole person, not just the female parts. Nice man. Wish he was a PCP, GI, and Rheumatologist because I need to find these qualities in these areas.

WILL NOT DO GENDER REVEAL PHOTO! My wife and I went in for our second child's ultrasound. Our first kid, we received an envelope to bring back to my sister in law for our gender reveal party. My sister in law and family flew in from California to throw us a gender reveal party. When we got back to the appointment, the technician told us that Dr. Raphtis owned the ultrasound machine and he decided no more gender reveals. The technician wasn't allowed to print out a copy. Arrogant and rude and has no control over the doctors in his practice... but they lead by example so what can you expect? Terrible wait times due to scheduling procedures set by him and the bottom line for this practice is money. After 3 years here, I’m finally fed up and switching to a Beaumont provider elsewhere.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Raphtis; he is truly the best OBGYN in Michigan. He has delivered all three of my children and wasn’t even on call for one of the deliveries and still came to the hospital to deliver my son. I have never waited more than 20 minutes for an office visit and the nurses and staff are amazing. Dr. Raphtis takes time with me and always answers all my questions in detail. I have referred many of my girlfriends to Dr. Raphtis and they have all love him too!

He's considerate and I feel that he genuinely cares about my situation. He's knowledgable and explains things clearly. I can say with confidence that he's the best doctor I've had. Also, his staff is so polite and helpful. I was feeling light-headed and the receptionist went out of her way to find a snack to help me feel better. I've been there twice and both experiences were great.

He was arrogant and made fun of my weight with his assistant. He told me I should learn to eat with my arm behind my back so I wouldn't gorge food. I eat less than 1200 cal per day. I have thyroid issues. He did not address my concerns.
