Andrews does not listen to the patient
Had to go to ER with OJI...is required by my company to be evaluated and have a drug screen.Explained issue of possible torn abdominal muscle. This doctor formulates a diagnosis of pleurisy.Being a respiratory therapist and nurse of nearly 30 years, I assure you your lungs are not in your abdomen. When nurse Brian RN came to give discharge paperwork and delivered the diagnosis, I requested to see Andrews again. Maybe, he misunderstood my concerns. Brian RN came back and state, ' the doctor is not coming back, he is too busy.' I waited 6 hours for a misdiagnosis, and to be disrespected by hospital staff. This may be the worst MD I have ever come across in my many years in health care.Willis Knighton Health System....Do better

Does NOT listen!!!
I took my 21 yr old son to the ER with a severe headache and nausea which had gotten worse over the last few weeks. The ER only took his bp and temp - sent us in the back. When Dr Andrews finally arrived, he kept telling my son it was a migraine. My son explained the pain was different than a migraine; it was going down his neck and felt deep in his head. The Dr insisted it was a migraine but we again told him it felt different, to which he replied with an attitude; “Then what exactly do you want me to do for you!?” We told him HE was the doctor!! So he listened to his chest and back, ordered a pain cocktail and sent us home. The NEXT day - we went to another ER where he was quickly diagnosed with a blood clot in his brain!!! We were told if we had waited much longer, it could have been a horrible situation. I absolutely love WK - this DR does not have the compassion and standards that the other WK doctors have!

Visited the emergency room, waiting from 8:30pm and finally got seen around 10:45. Dr. Andrews saw me previously and told me that he?s going to do the same thing he done for me last time because ?it worked good enough for me to go home.? However the next hour or so at home, I?m back sick and then back at the hospital again. When trying to express my concerns with Dr. Andrews, he over talked me, seemed annoyed and did not offer any compassion or sympathy. He was very rude and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome ON TOP of how sick and terrible I already feel. If you get him in the emergency room, request another doctor. He will make you feel worse than you felt before he came in. He admitted that he only does enough for people to leave, not for them to feel good. Remember that when he is your doctor and report him.

I went Willis-Knighton because I had a ½ inch piece of wire stuck in my eye. Dr. Andrews was the ER doctor. Dr. Craig Andrews told me he removed it. He sent me home. He had not removed the wire at all but had actually pushed the wire further into my eye. The next day, I had to go to another hospital where they removed the wire and also removed my eyeball. I am blind in one eye as a result. Dr. Andrews also changed my medical records after the fact.
