He really didn't listen to what I was saying about my medical issue & concerns. He told me why it could be happening. I know there's more to it & didn't believe the reasons he gave me. Like I said, I felt he wasn't listening to what the patient is saying. I felt like it was a waste of my time & co pay.

I came with a difficult situation, having seen multiple providers over several years for a reoccurring issue. Dr. Brooker listened and thoughtfully considered my background, symptoms and options. I appreciated the time he spent discussing ideas and demonstrating compassion for my situation. He provided education and insight that inspired confidence. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Brooker gave my serious neurological condition short shrift, instead focusing extensively on my infrequent migraines. Perhaps this is because he's a migraine specialist. However it was unhelpful. My family doctor eagerly suggested I find another neurologist and get a "second opinion." The next neurologist was great and addressed my real issue.

Doctor was dismissive of complaints and advised against further medical testing and OTC pain relief after rapid misdiagnosis of my condition. Repeatedly contradicted my understanding of symptoms like pain and weakness of my own body. Told me not to have MRI of spine ordered by my GP, who had listened to my symptoms. Told me many times to "Google" a condition that explained my symptoms stemming from overuse of OTC pain medication, which I have not overused. He claimed very low usage could cause migraines he was sure I had, despite me never having described having migraine pain. He seemed very rushed and eager to get me out of his office. Against his advice I had further testing and got a proper diagnosis, based completely on the MRI he himself told me he never would have ordered.
