Waste of time and Money
I had my family doctor send over referral info. They called me from his office and set up an appointment. I got there and they took my insurance card and then charged me $65 for my copay. I’ve never had to pay that much for copay. I filled out 40 minutes of paperwork and when called back he didn’t even come in to see me. They wanted to put me either on a medication of their choice that I had tried before and didn’t work or install the stimulator in my back. I’ve been on my regular meds for over 12 yrs and it works so I didn’t won’t to change. They refused to fill my meds so I wasted not only my time and gas but had to drive 70 miles one way when they could have just told me on the phone that they wouldn’t fill my prescription. What a waste of my time and he wouldn’t even give me the decency to come tell me himself

Dr. Charleston staff is horrible at both offices, his wife is the manager so nothing, they do not have a problem when they over charge your insurance. I have been dealing with them too long but after yesterday I just want all my medical records so I can move on.

I had a good experience with Dr Charleston,. But that was during the change over when Dr. C went private practice rather than the the whole center. Someone needs to let him know that his staff not on point! He needs to know this, I really hope he reads these review's !!!

Thought I'd finally found someone with an answer to my pain without drugs. But now I can't get anyone to answer the phone or return my calls. I left messages, no reply's. Can't even get a confirmation on an appointment TOMORROW. Terrible office management, guess I'll start looking for another Dr.

DR CHARLESTON NEEDS TO KNOW HOW BAD A JOB HIS STAFF IS DOING; RECEPTIONIST, PROVIDER, AND NURSES INCLUDED. HIS STAFF DOSEN'T ANSWER THE TELEPHONE, RETURN CALLS, NEITHER DO THEY FOLLOW UP. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT OVER A WEEK AGO AND I STILL HAVE NO MEDS. I'VE CALLED AND HAS LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES OVER SEVERAL DAYS AND HAS NOT RECIEVED A CALL BACK AS OF YET. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY REGULAR PROVIDER. THEY DISPLAY NO URGENCY NEITHER CONCERN FOR PATIENTS.

Hard to schedule appointments, he is never on time in clinic, and the office only pushes narcotics for pain instead of other options(NSAIDs, topical ,injections, etc). He also does not follow up with patients thoroughly. You are lucky to get two minutes. For patients who are not pill poppers, he is not the doctor I would select. The office does not return calls in a timely manner either.
